i would imagine so theyre fucking amazing on record

  5. I've only seen them once and I hate the venue it was at, but they still managed to sound awesome. It was probably about 6 months after Absent Sounds released.

This reminds me that I need to revisit the new one again. It was so great a couple weeks I listened to it for

I saw them one time opening for Manchester during the things we think were missing cycle before I came around to the album so I was not feeling it

    I still fucking love it

  10. Seen Balance like 7-8 times, the Manchester tour was the best I've seen them I think. That said, they're one of the most hit or miss live bands I can think of

i also wasnt in the pit so that probably contributed, manchester is a band where i can sit anywhere and enjoy their set but balance at the time seemed like i needed to be up in the action to really feel what was happening

  12. Haha, funny you say that because I think that set shined particularly well because they played primarily their slower stuff, but I'd imagine they changed things up a bit too since TTWTWM had just released. I've seen them play two nights in a row before though and one show was awesome and the other was probably the worst I've seen from them. Love them but they're just inconsistent as hell.

Manchester on the other hand.... fuck, that set blew me away. And I'm not even that into them.

I wish I saw Balance more on their TTWTWM touring cycle. I saw them with Seahaven and it was fantastic, but that was it. I like Light We Made, but it didn't pull me in nearly as well. I'll have to revisit it soon.

I've seen Manchester live so so so many times and I don't listen to them that much, they just put on the most powerful live show ive ever seen and they do it every single time they play

Balance was extremely disappointing on the Manchester tour. When I saw them before that though like right before ttwtwm came out they were super good

That Manchester tour was the first time I saw B&C and it was kinda sad just because their set felt so short (Didn't help that Manchester put on an insanely good set right after). They were a lot bettter on the tour with Circa and Chon but at their best on the fall headliner they just did.

The only time I've seen them was also on the tour with Manchester and their set was disappointing. Definitely want to catch them at one of their own shows on this album cycle though

I thought they were pretty great when I saw them on both the Manchester tour and the Circa tour.

  19. Didn't Nassiff call one of their sets boring and they got really weird about it? I seem to remember that being a thing

I saw them do a headliner at a tiny venue on Long Island a while back and that was incredible. I also saw them on the Circa tour and at Riot Fest and both of those were a little disappointing. I'd like to catch them on this tour though

  21. The new stuff is great live. Postcard is something else especially. Definitely worth making the effort to catch them on this album cycle.

Yeah me me too. I'd love to see Balance again, but Foxing is one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

I forgot how much I like this album. Great soundtrack for a chilly, dreary afternoon.
