Ummm Tom only super arrogant people would think our planet is the only place in the whole universe with life on it. This doesn't change the fact that you're a weird UFO nut.

NASA didn't find a UFO too did they? What am I missing lol.

  5. Speaking of Tom, ever since I watched that Pursuit Of Tone doc my feelings have completely changed about him in the most positive way since he left Blink.

More fucking songwriter bullshit. Don't care who he is, this is not Blink-182.

I don't care about stuff like that, i like my blink fun and catchy. Plus, it's not like it was written for them.

I had a dream that I heard the whole deluxe album live and it was amazing. Except the third track sampled Coldplay's "Paradise" and had an EDM breakdown so let's hope that part of my dream wasn't accurate.

  10. Yawn.

If someone told me that none of the songs on California had co-writers, I wouldn't doubt that for a second. The co-writing isn't noticeable at all, except on maybe "Home Is Such A Lonely Place" or "California" because those 2 songs stand out as sounding like a departure from Blink's typical sound, but even those, I don't know if they have co-writers or not. Because I don't care either way. The only song on that album I straight up dislike is "California." So whatever.

Nope just prefer blink songs to be written by Mark Hoppus or Thomas Delonge. Sorry, not sorry.

  14. What if you didn't know that they used co-writers? Would that change your opinion? I'd bet that it would.

Does it bother you that Jerry Finn had such a huge influence on blink's old stuff?

Jerry Finn and Roger Joseph Manning Jr absolutely contributed to the writing process back in the day but writing credits weren't given out as frequently back then

Lol yeah there's no way Jerry Finn, who they called the 4th member of blink, didn't contribute to the songwriting at all.

I usually don't like having a ton of different cowrites, like on Relient K's Collapsible Lung. You can really tell their was no clear vision on that album.

I think it make sense when someone like Feldman gets credit, especially when it's the whole album. He is a part of the writing process and has input on the whole album. It seems to work.

I wouldn't be bitching about co-writers and instead would be confused as to how Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba wrote such am uninspired record.

No, because those records were good.

Roger Joseph Manning Jr. wrote the keyboard parts not sure what source you have to confirm he contributed lyrics or anything else? Same for Jerry Finn, I doubt he wrote any lyrics, but contributed more in a producer sense. Prove me wrong if you got the sources.

Oh I'm not proving you wrong, he wrote the keyboard parts- not lyrics. But the song is still credited to Mark/Tom/Travis where in today's world adding those keyboard parts would warrant a writing credit

I hope you realize co-writing doesn't mean strictly writing the lyrics.

I thought the co-writing on Sober was very noticeable. Before I even knew they had co-writers on this album besides Feldman, when I first heard that song I immediately thought Stump had something to do with it.

And why does everyone hate the song California! Hahaha thats like my go-to song when I need something to lift my spirits.

I can't wait until blink releases new music so we don't have to talk about how:

    - Feldmann is the worst
    - Tom is either great or the worst person ever
    - No Tom, no blink
    - California stinks because they had other people get writing credits
    - The new album sounds like +44 or Goldfinger too much

    Did I miss anything else?

I don't 'hate it', in fact I really like the last parts when Skiba is doing backup vocals. But it is my least favorite on the album.

Aside from the last part, those first two 'points' are opinions and nothing more. Move along, Redditor.
