So I have a friend who has been struggling with dysphoria as of late. How can I best be there for them as a cis-male, and probably more importantly what resources are available for them in the Chicago area?

Hello all

If there are any trans-women present or people with experience, I could use a bit of guidance. I've been getting involved with a trans woman recently. She's amazing, and our shared experience has been wonderful so far. My concern regards sex. The tension gets very heavy sometimes, and from how it plays out I've inferred she has not had surgery. I haven't asked her directly about it, the moment never seemed quite right. She is totally down for pleasuring me, but I don't want to be a selfish lover, at least not in the long run. What is the best way to go about discussing these things, and does anyone have any insight into particular ways to reciprocate pleasure to a pre-op trans woman?

Definitely her preference. Can't give sex advice about a girl I don't know. She wants to talk about it, she'll talk about it. She wants you to do something in the bedroom, she'll signal. Just try your best to be attentive.

You'll just have to wait until she tells you what you she's comfortable with, which will be when she decides that she wants to have sex with you. Personally I don't really want anyone touching my junk and it doesn't make you a selfish lover, there are plenty of other ways to have fun. Maybe she doesn't mind though, you'll just have to wait and see.
