nvm lol.

 

I always wrote off Amnesiac because I always thought it was just a bunch of spare material. (its radiohead tho even their spare material is great). Same thing happened with All Delighted People/Age of Adz and the former ended up being one of my favorite Soof releases

so yeah I need to listen to it more

 

In Rainbows and The Bends are the two I return to most, tho I don't really return to the latter in full, it just has some incredible highlights.

 

For me it's just under Kid A and In Rainbows so I definitely recommend giving it some more time, ha. So many fantastic songs on there. The closer in particular is one of my favourite Radiohead songs.

 

unpopular: I am very excited to see Wilco/Tweedy this year at Eaux Claires but "yankee hotel foxtrot" mostly bores me :(

 

Life In A Glasshouse is easily in my top 10 Radiohead tunes

I'm having a tough time getting into A Moon Shaped Pool. I honestly just don't know when the right time is to listen to it. I'm weird like that.

 

Strangely enough, AMSP was maybe the most immediate for me. Probably because the first 2 tracks are just so fucking good.

Yeah really not sure why I slept on Amnesiac for so long. I feel sad for anyone who can't get into Radiohead. It took me literally around 9-10 years and now they're one of my favorite bands.

 

I'm not going to rank because my top 5 change depending on the day/mood and this thread has had enough ranking already lol

 

I really can't rank them, I think The Bends is still my favorite but they're remarkably consistent

At least Papa Roach is fun if nothing else, never cared a lick for Radiohead even though I loved so many of their contemporaries...

 

I don't mind some Papa Roach songs but the bands are on completely different levels

Well, to each their own. I'd recommend everyone spend a lot of time with Radiohead, regardless of their musical taste. There's so much to explore. Hell, I just started getting into them less than a year ago and I'm still very much in the process. I'm sure I'm mostly preaching to the choir here, though.

 

Depending on how far into your Radiohead journey you are, I can recommend tons of b-sides! They're all album quality tracks.
