Tried Brewery Ommegang's Gnomegang today, good beer! Frighteningly drinkable for being over 9% ABV.

 

Jim Carrey's not impressed.

 

i swear, it wasn't on by choice; it was on that channel when i turned on the TV.


But I'm actually kinda pissed because Trillium just released a new bottled Wild Ale aged on cherries that they're actually selling, as opposed to being a taproom exclusive. Trying to park near their Boston location on a Friday night doesn't sound like fun, nor does driving from work to their taproom then back into Boston, again.

 

If it was the original, I probably would have watched it. Getting drunk and watching dumb movies is a favorite past time of mine nowadays since my girlfriend and I have become hermits.

Planning on hitting up Dovetail in Chicago tonight with a friend which is a recently opened lager focused brewery. Their Helles Lager is pretty good, but it looks like they have a rauchbier in the taproom which I'm stoked about because there aren't enough breweries making that style.

 

it was the sequel which I haven't seen/have no interest in seeing, despite the original being one of my favorites when I was younger

 

Sounds ideal, gonna have to check em out. Where are they distributed? FL only? We'll be down there in March for Hunahpu's Day.

I've never had a problem parking by Trillium. There are usually street spots if you get away from the buildings and park closer to the lots/90 entrance.

 

Drinking a Mokka Munt while listening to the new Menz album, so damn good.

Also had a 3 Floyds Floy Division #2 earlier and that was not good.

 

for Christmas, my girlfriend got us tickets to this Stone event on Sunday and I'm prettttttty stoked on the draft list. There are 7 beer and food pairings and THEN even more from their cellars, etc.... it might get a little crazy

Miller Coors released a coffee oatmeal stout? How was that?

 

I thought it was pretty good. New to oatmeal stouts, so I don't know too too much.

 

Pretty pumped I was able to get a ticket for the Maine Beer Dinner release next weekend. I've never had it before so I'm excited to finally try it.

Treehouse will be a part of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp pack this year.

 

Surprised. I don't remember exactly, but they weren't even at the festival in Boston last year.

The Mikkeller and Bruery ones sound pretty crazy

 

On my other messageboard people are trying to tell me that IPAs from Surly or Three Floyds are better than ANY East Coast brewery. SMH.

 

idk who Digger is but they're playing a show at Neshaminy Creek with Captain We're Sinking and the dude from Spraynard. Should be cool

 

So far, I have brewed one beer at my work that was my recipe that went on tap and it went over well though I didn't like it. I just tried a cinnamon vanilla stout I made a couple weeks ago that is currently in the fermenter with cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans and I freakin' nailed it. Such a good feeling to execute a beer to exactly what you envisioned it'd taste like.

 

That's so awesome, man. Congrats. You may have mentioned it before and I'm forgetting, but are you a brewer by title or do you work in another capacity and get to contribute to the brewing side as well?

 

KBS tickets go on sale next Saturday. Going to do all I can to be able to get the max allotment of 4 4 packs and 2 bombers

 

he's got stuff all over Tampa. Doing a sour takeover tomorrow night at Right Around The Corner.
