I wasn't crazy with how Cena/Orton ended last night.

 

Yo @preppyak were you the one going to the Smackdown house show in March? The venue for my date in that run just announced Cena v. Styles in a street fight as the main event, and since they typically repeat house show lineups for a month at a time I imagine it'd be the same for yours. Def buying the tickets right now!

Enjoy that street fight dude, that sounds kickass. Wish NXT did that kind of stuff for their house show main events, it especially would have suited Baron Corbin and Rhyno when they were in NXT.

 

Thanks dude. Ironically enough, I'm going to an NXT show on Saturday that looks kinda lackluster. Are you in the Florida area/go to the smaller NXT shows? They seem like a mixed bag but sometimes awesome.

 

I think it varies from wrestler to wrestler and kind of depends on how one wrestler knows the other.

For example, I've heard Ryback refer to Daniel Bryan as Dan in some of the podcasts he's done where as wrestlers that have known him before WWE seem to always call him Bryan.

On Total Divas, Lana drops all kayfabe but still calls Rusev by his ring name, and in her accent no less. Probably because that's what she knows him best as.

Oh man, now I feel bad about making fun of him every time he flubbed up announcing.

 

In my experience, it varies, but leans more towards ring names. The only wrestler who has ever introduced themselves to me personally with their real name was actually Bayley.

Elimination Chamber is gonna be awesome while Fastlane is going to feature a part timer 49 year old squashing the up and coming universal champion because the part timer cant take bumps or wrestle longer than five minutes

 

I still can't wrap my head around how he thought his horrifically bad ring name was so important to his career that he legally changed his name to it.

 

Ryback is a strong, Christian name.

 

Actually, as of December, he's officially 50! That match is going to be a trainwreck.

 

NICE! Yeah, Im going March 11th. That matchup makes perfect sense, since I imagine Dean will defend the IC title against whoever at house shows.

Ill be curious how they fill the rest of the card. Tag and womens matches could be interesting

Fastlane is gonna be the most RAW PPV possible. Braun/Roman ends in a DQ of some sort. Best case is KO/Goldberg ends in a DQ. Or we watch a 6-month champ get squashed.

Probably some 4-woman tag between Bayley/Sasha/Nia/Charlotte. Or a #1 contenders match. Tag match between Club and E/C that likely ends in interference or shenanigans.

Im thinking Neville/Gallagher will be the only clean finishg.

Up and coming is a weird way of putting it. He's the #1 guy on Raw and probably #3 in the company right now. He's going to continue to be great. Goldberg has maybe 6 months in him. This booking isn't hurting these guys long term, other than Brock.

 

You don't think losing to Goldberg in less than five minutes isn't going to hurt Kevin Owens? It'll just be the final nail in the coffin of the awful booking of his title run. Up and coming is a weird term - guess I meant one of the "new era" guys.

 

The sooner KO gets the title off of him the sooner they can book him as a dominant guy that doesnt need to cheat to win if they so please.
