Idk I'm a sucker for synth, and cryptic neon I guess. Rectify's opening is personally my fav TV intro. Followed by The Wire, and The Sopranos.

My three favorite intros are probably X-Files, Stranger Things, Daredevil

    Season 9 intro is atrocious.

I'll add Luke Cage to keep with the Marvel stuff.

Luke Cage tried to hard to do the same thing as Daredevil

I haven't seen an episode of Daredevil so I didn't know that!

Either way, the music mixed with the visual just works for some reason.

I don't see the similarities there...maybe for the buildings?

Obviously there will be a similar theme since both Daredevil and Luke Cage exist in the same city, and they're both Netflix/Marvel shows.

Just the color style (all yellow/all red), slow-mo, the way it's edited. I don't know, definitely gives me a similar vibe.

Yea, and that Luke Cage's original colors are partially yellow, and Daredevil's colors are maroon/red.

    Might be Spider-Man...

I can't wait for Season 2, the trailer looked so good. The show feels like a long movie and I dig that. Bring on 1984!

I'm going to give it a chance, but the first season was just a series of moments for me. What I mean by that is there was a lot of in-between stuff that wasn't very memorable, but every episode had like one or maybe two key visuals actually mattered.

I respectfully disagree with that assessment. I thought some of the "down" moments were important to building the story's arc and communicating to the audience what is happening. It's hard to give specific examples now, but I remember that's how I felt going through it. And watching it the second time, I appreciated those less intense moments more.

It's not so much that the moments were boring or whatever, I just look back at it as a season of "moments" rather than a season worth of interesting material.

It's a good-not-great kinda show, which is fine.

True. I'm hoping for more sheriff-level characters in terms of quality.

I don't remember it... There was a ninth season? Haha

Hell yes there was. I'm going though the series for the first time since they've aired and I'm into season 9 right now.

I used this site to go through the top ranked episodes, and surprisingly enough, season 8 and 9 have multiple episodes within the top 50. There is a season 9 episode in the top 10!

Agent Doggett's character was great as the hard-boiled detective who used old school police work even when dealing in the X-Files. Agent Reyes was fine, I guess, she wasn't anything special, but happened to be one of the better actors out of the main cast during her run.

First I went through the episodes that included Krychek because seriously, he's one of the most mysterious characters to appear on a show that lasted damn near 10 years.

Next were the best of every season, in order. So if I was on season 1, I'd watch the highest ranked episodes (on that list above) and then go back and complete the season.

I'm doing the same thing now, but mainly with season 8 and 9.

I'm joking haha it's my favorite show ever. Well aware of season 9 haha. I really don't recall a lot of it, I'll have to check out that list. I didn't dislike it though.

Best episode of season 9 so far is 4-D, because it's waaaaay too emotionally driven for an X-Files episode. Also check out Sunshine Days, which is about a house that looks exactly like the Brady Bunch house. It's great for the absurdity of it.

Sunshine Days is such a weird penultimate episode for a series.
