I had some trouble in the beginning but towards the end I had little trouble.

I very rarely got frustrated with that aspect of the game.

I think the availability (or lack thereof) was their plan all along to drive sales.

I dont know if I would have even bought it but tried to add to cart. Maybe buy it just to see if any friends or family members wanted one.

Yeah, I wanted one in November but with only a few weeks until I get actual new Nintendo hardware I don't care anymore.

I got one. Not sure if I'll keep it or sell it to a buddy who can't find one.

For those of you who got/want an NES Classic, serious question: why?

What about it interests you? The HD quality? Collectors item?

    Im genuinely curious.

@Timmiluvs Well it's a high quality plug and play emulator that supports HDMI and has an actual Nintendo made controller, and there is even a simple hack now that allows you to put roughly 600 NES games on it at the same time. Pretty awesome. I'll definitly get one once they are available.

I think for a lot of people it's a chance to play those games again that they were able to play as kids so I think its a lot of nostalgia. Also, lets be honest, the original NES wasn't the most reliable console.

Also, many current gamers, which I would place a bet that 99.9% of this forum would be part of, never got to play the original NES, which makes it even more desirable.

Yeah I personally have no desire to get one. I'd rather get an original and collect and the cool game cartridges lol

Couldn't agree more. It had a better catalog and was an overall better console.

I'd lay out all the money for that. Granted I still have a lot of my old games so I should just buy the original console, but I want that HDMI compatibility.

    Ty for the responses.

I figured with emulation being available for so long that many people wouldn't care enough to have an NES Classic.
I figured it would be an HDMI/accessible emulator thing (especially with the hack) for most people but I wanted to see if anyone had any other reasons.

On the topic of it, I'll probably never get one either because having an original NES + an Everdrive is enough for me (and I personally don't care too much for HDMI anyway).
