IOH might be my favorite FOB album

 

I don't like IOH much as a whole but "The (After) Life of The Party" is easily one of their best songs imo.

 

FAD not counting, I feel like IOH is their most creative release. There are so many fun songs they don't seem to play anymore unfortunately. It also has my favorite opener.

 

Listened to FAD and IOH for the first time in god knows how long this morning (at least for IOH), and I forgot how freaking brilliant FAD is

 

The first four albums are really all varying degrees of brilliant in their own way. Unfortunately, while initially I was super into them, Sr&R and AB/AD have not aged well at all, and they're still relatively new.

 

YOU'RE BREAKING MY HEART

 

Golden and the screaming bridge in The Carpal Tunnel of Love are really the only bad things about IOH.

 

I honestly love Golden, other than a few lyrics on it

 

tooooongues on the socket / of electric dreams

 

The screaming part of Carpal is the best part of the album ya dweebs

 

Kanye Arms Race remix is the best

 

I look forward to the screaming every time but its so admittedly bad

 

I love Kanye just saying he has no idea what that song is about on his remix

Also Don't You Know Who I Think I Am is the most underrated FOB song and probably top 10

 

Hahaha yep and i always thought this aint a scene was one of their easier songs to understand the lyrical meaning

 

Is it acceptable to say here that I think this is the worst album FOB made? It has its moments but overall is messy to me.

Edit: Also, I think "Saturday" is one of my least favorite songs by them and I hate they always end their setlist with it

I don't get that logic though because someone could have loved TTTYG when it first came out and then it aged poorly

 

AB/AP is by far my least favorite album. TTYG has a few songs I enjoy still but overall it's eh

 

TTTYG is so easily their worst imo.

 

TTTYG is easily their worst if we're still pretending EOWYG didn't happen.

"this one was strange. it was transitional. If FUCT was the caterpillar album- Infinity On High was the cocoon one. we had been on tour around the world nonstop but hadn't really seen any of the magazine covers we were on or had any perspective of seeing our videos on TRL- it was odd how everything was changing but it felt like we were in a time capsule... this record would bring so many ideas from jay z doing the intro to working with baby face on "thnks fr th mmrs" to the flight 101 saga (3 shows in a day in ny, chicago, and la)... but first and foremost it documented this blur that had become our lives. this record more than any of the others has always reminded me of night time- both the anxiety of insomnia and the peace of being awake when everyone else is asleep. i remember before we released it i used like a security blanket listening and trying to fall asleep. i really appreciate everyone who gave this one a chance.
