Haha that's amazing! So glad we could help with that, our point of view with that is the promoter wants 8 quid back from each ticket but we can charge what we want up to 11, so my thought is always just charge the minimum we can so people can save money even if we make nothing from the show. Always rather the people coming have a better deal :)

If you fancy it we are doing our own DIY headline show on March 3rd in Birmingham.

I like "Hey I'm Sorry" but I don't feel like it would have added much to the album. It felt...unfinished? I can't put my finger on it but it just doesn't feel like they knew where to go with it. Especially the hook and the ending variation.

Chorus feels like a place holder. Verses are sweet.

Honestly, such a great attitude to have. Appreciate it so much.

Where's your headline show at? If I can, I'll make it and buy you a beer to say thanks.

I put Hey I'm Sorry at the end of the album and I like it as a closer a lot more than Brohemian Rhapsody

That's where I have it too. The same way the Japanese version is sequenced. I also prefer it as the closer.

The headline show is at The Sunflower Lounge. Do you know it?

Here's the FB event for it :)

Damnit. Every time I put California down and move on I get dragged back lol. I last listened to it a month ago, moved on to the new TBS, some starset and three days grace and APC....yet now here I am listening to it again front to back lol

It's my local basically, right by the bull ring. Really great little venue/pub. Check it out irrespective I'd say if you're in Birmingham

I've been preserving California because I tend to overplay my favorite bands a LOT. Every time I listen to the full album it's just so so great to me. Paired with some killer summertime memories.

Bored to Death still remains a top 5 blink song for me. I heard that on the radio yesterday while driving and cranked the volume. It still holds up.

"Bored to Death" is just a great song. I remember playing it like 50 times in a row the day it accidentally came out.

I feel like major fans typically get burned out on a band's singles, but this one seems to still hold up with almost everyone. It's kind of like "Feeling This" where hardcore fans and casual fans both love it. That DnB pattern is money.

Yeah Bored is probably a top 15 blink song for me. It's just everything an anthemic blink song should be. Feel like it nails everything that Up All Night didn't (not that I don't like it.)

Bored to Death is great, but I still hate the "life is too short to last long" line, if they removed that the song would've been perfect

I concur that BTD(and California as a whole) still hold up very well. BTD is in my top 5 of the album and top 15 overall blink songs for sure

  17. When I heard BTD for the first time, I involuntarily yelled "Woo!" like 3 times. I still fucking love that song.

Lollapalooza seems even more likely now since there is no Chicago date on this tour.

    Things have changed.

    It's also a B-market tour that's primarily southern cities
