I'm normally content with WWE reaming its fans, but if anybody in that match deserved a month or two reign with the IC it was Ryder

Hey at least Ryder doesn't have the shortest IC title reign in history. That honor still goes to Shane Douglas who held the title for only 11 minutes.

catching up on Smackdown, the Baron Corbin promo was short and sweet. And good god is Tyler Breeze buried...wasnt even 3mins after his music hit that he was taking the 3-count.

Gotta love KO still selling the ladder match injuries as well. The feud with him and Sami is gonna be awesome

 

LU Post

First episode in a while that wasn't Aztec Warfare that I really loved. Really good character progression for all the characters this week and 2 of the 3 matches were real solid.

Kobra Moon still sucks and should go away, but her match with Ivellise wasn't unwatchable. Not much to say aside from glad that KM lost.

Trios tournament will be a blast. Joey Ryan and the Crew are going to be fun to watch as this progresses. Cisco became a star this week, probably the best performance on the show. Marty and Mariposa are real weird, but I like where they are going with their feud with the Mack and Sexy Star.

Team Mysterio, Dragon Azteca, and Prince Puma is going to be fucking awesome.

Matanza vs. Fenix was perfect for what it was supposed to be. Fenix remains credible while not making Matanza look weak at all really. Matanza and Mil will be real good, but in no way should Matanza lose that.

 

the rest of the roster has a lot to learn from KO. Selling injuries / soreness is probably my longest withstanding gripe with most wrestlers.

Looks like Nakamura got hurt last night in Columbia and recorded stitches. I'm going to the NXT show tonight so I hope he's still wrestling.

Going to the NXT "B team" show in Largo tonight. I think we're getting Bayley, still hoping for Rich Swann.

 

The New Japan show tomorrow is going to be so dope. So many title matches.

 

I didn't go to Gainesville last night but I know they got Joe and Bayley.

 

Contemplating staying up for it.

Yep we got Joe and Bayley. Joe was actually quite a surprise. So pumped I got to see him live.

Also happy I got to see Chris Girard (Biff Busick).

just came back from a really small indie show in NJ. My first one if you can believe that. Very funny seeing pro-wrestling 2 feet in front of me and in a place where they usually have batting cages.

Tito Santana wrestled. Damn. Something about seeing the guy who wrestled the first ever wrestlemania match in bumblefuck NJ at 63years old....bizarre. He had a few decent moves but weird.

Justin Credible wrestled...and cursed...and cursed a LOT haha. This was a family show. Nothing but kids and families and here comes Justin Credible with "mother fucker" "shut the fuck up" and totally goes shoot and really makes everyone incredibly uncomfortable. He did a thing where he threw a bunch of chairs into the ring ECW style, and I learned later that that wasn't supposed to happen, and he was later kicked out. And the GUT on this guy!!

Al Snow is in GREAT shape! It makes sense considering he's the only guy who's still relatively employed with a wrestling promotion. He had a fun match with one of my good friends... THE CHAMP of WORLD 1 WRESTLING! (He was hilarious as a king heel character). He was a professional throughout. Engaged with the crowd, kids, and families, and it was just a blast to see him.


Weird night. Not great wrestling obviously.

 

Just checked and this thread has like double the amount of posts of all threads on Chorus.fm except for the general forum chat thread (which has a ridiculous 13K posts). Absurd!

 

Reupped my NJPW World sub, so excited to see Ospreay and the main event
