Thank you! Decided to try out Automator first - didn't even know that existed. For some reason I'm having issues. When I run the test within Automator it works, but I can't get it to actually work. Not sure where I'm going wrong.

 

My guess off the top of my head is that the shortcut you used is currently in use by something else - have you tried setting it to something like command shift J or something that isn't in use and seeing if that works?

 

Yes, but the iCloud library fucks up A LOT for me. Basically any live version of a song or any remix or anything at all like that will just play the regular version of the song. It is insanely irritating.

 

Not if you're using iCloud library. I've tried before and it will not let me and it specifically says iCloud library is the reason why.

 

renaming songs helps a bit, it matches song title and doesn't really look at album, which fucks things up a bit.

 

I'm using iCloud library? Right click > add to iCloud library, open phone, play song.

 

You can't manually sync, but you can upload them to the cloud and then download on your phone.

Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2017 first quarter ended December 31, 2016. The Company posted all-time record quarterly revenue of $78.4 billion and all-time record quarterly earnings per diluted share of $3.36. These results compare to revenue of $75.9 billion and earnings per diluted share of $3.28 in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 64 percent of the quarter’s revenue.

AirPods still haven't shipped. Sad. Signed up for notifications for Verizon, Target and AT&T when they have stock so I can buy those and cancel my pre-order.

 

The only issue I ever have with Apple Music is when I add an album to my Library before it's released and a new song from that album comes out, it doesn't show up. I have to search for it again, find the artist profile and it's listed there. I wish that when you added the album it would automatically download new songs from it as they become available.

Ditto. Same for full albums. Sometimes they come/work other times I have to delete + re-add.

 

I just updated my Apple Watch to whatever the latest update is and I noticed today that I couldn't force touch (or 3D Touch, whatever it's called) to clear all the notifications on the watch. Anyone else seeing this?

 

Grabbing this even though I don't watch Netflix too much on my laptop. But maybe I will now!

 

Ohhh okay I thought he was talking about hardwiring his phone into his computer to add music the old school way. I knew you could do it that way though.

 

Yeah all of them had something else in the name (like Live or Remix) but it still does it to me. So annoying.

 

After maybe a month or so of having the AirPods, I'll probably venture as far to say they are my favorite Apple product.

If not, they are a very close second to my Apple TV.

 

Anyone else having massive playback issues with Apple Music tonight? Can hardly get a single track to play more than the first 30 seconds right now.

I've been using Keyboard Maestro more and more over the past week and it can do some really cool things. If you're into automation on the Mac at all, totally worth a look.

 

- I cannot afford anything more, unless someone wants to send me a check. But is the iPhone SE worth it?
- Is there a good portable phone charger that works for both Android and iOS?
- Does anyone expect the Mac mini to be updated any time soon?
