Honest question:

Do you think Trump supporters realize they gave Trump and his rich asshole friends the power to just make themselves richer while destroying the earth more in the process? Fuck me, they probably don't even believe in climate change, nvm.

I've stopped reading the "profile of a Trump voter" pieces that show up every two or three days now, but, I think they don't care. I think there's a few camps at play:

1) Don't care what he does as long as it pisses off "liberals." They want to see the "PC" crowd upset, angry, and hurt.
2) Think he really is going to help the white man most and/or implement their pet regressive conservative policies and therefore whatever he does is fine to that end.
3) Didn't wanna vote for Hillary but are genuinely regretting their vote.

 

Think I'm gonna say this every day, seeing as it's therapeutic, and the damage we will see from this admin is long lasting so it's not going away for awhile:

If you voted for Trump, I will never ever forgive you. Ever. And I hope you suffer personally.

 

Intellectually, I understand how the Trump voter came into existence, however, I still look at white people with disdain. I understand that that is fucked up, but I never trusted them outside of my comrades before and it's only gotten worse.

 

Ditto. And I'll hold a grudge against anyone that enables him going forward as well. Politicians, family members, friends, online acquaintances ... I have a long memory.

I can tell from who says what in this thread who really gives a shit about changing and improving the left and who doesn't. It's kinda sad we've come to this as a result of the election, but it reflects upon life: We don't change until it's 'too late', or something to that effect.
