I feel like that is how most horror games go. I remember finding Dead Space 1 terrifying at the start but a few hours in I was fine.

Just finished the first section I guess of RE7 and my girlfriend is out. She's settled on the word terrified to describe her feelings about the game.

I was driving super fast in Sleeping Dogs and I hit a wall so hard that my character flew into the ceiling and got stuck.

It was amazing and I also recorded it.

This is definitely true, but I think there's still moments throughout the game that are pretty scary/shocking at least. I think a lot of it is from losing the flashlight effect of the opening. Honestly I prefer once it opens up, it becomes more about exploring a creepy mansion and finding secrets and supplies rather than giving me a heart attack from every small noise every two seconds. :P

Yeah the scariest part of all horror games is the beginning when you have no idea what sort of tricks they're going to throw at you and you're still learning the controls and whatnot.

I've always been somebody who was huge on 100% completion. Probably why I don't buy a crazy amount of games, I get my money's worth playing each. Sometimes I give up though.

I had no idea how expansive Shadow Of Mordor was. I completed everything on the first map and annihilated every Captain/Warchief. Took about 2 weeks of casual gaming, but then I found out there's more full maps and full rosters of captains

Whenever I'm going through a game and like 100%ing it I just get bored and then like rush through the end.

I don't really enjoy collecting a shitload of items in games at all. I will never see the true ending of Arkham Knight anywhere else but Youtube because collecting all of those trophies doesn't appeal to me at all

Also, I finished the Battlefield 1 campaign today and I enjoyed it and liked the structure but I definitely thought the COD Infinite Warfare one was better

I always entertain the idea of 100%ing something, then ultimately realize how much work it is and how boring it will be and say 'fuck it'.

The only game I've ever 100%ed is Bully and the collection/cleanup after finishing the story was fun I guess but not as fun as whatever game I played immediately after.

  16. The concept of getting 100% on a game, or even just having Steam Achievements pop up for the most random things, is still pretty new to me.

The villain at the end of the last episode was a disaster and nonsensical, but overall the first season and the DLC for The Walking Dead was really special. I was disappointed how little your choices ultimately mattered, but that has more to do with the inherent limits in branching storylines.

My Walking Dead glitched towards the end of season 1 and my only option was to restart the episode and hope that it wouldn't glitch again. Haven't played since

Telltale's Game of Thrones was fucking great

I just don't get it. How can anyone go into something with that mindset? I also find it difficult to be blissfully ignorant to the fact that there are people like that.

Happy to see the Crash Bandicoot collection date has been changed from 12/31 to 6/30. Still optimistic we get it earlier.
