Tom bots will latch onto anything that gives them any hope... But the realists all know that it's not happening anytime soon.

 

Sounding like a broken record: at this point I am hoping he won't return. I'm fine with the skeebz.

I wonder why this band is like the only one (that I can think of anyway) that has fans like this, haha. It's crazy.

 

Tom will clearly perform blink songs on stage again at some point in his life (whether that's with the actual band or not idk) but it's absurd to think he'd back back with them in 2017. 2019 at the earliest I'd say.

 

He finally convinced them that the songs sound better with 2 minutes of spacey intros.

I really wish we could find out what exactly Mark/Travis' lawyers and Tom's lawyers worked out in terms of using the blink name and what they can/can't do and if Tom could come back at any time he wants etc. That way all the speculation and the whole "OMG TOM WANTS TO COME BACK" nonsense would end.

Seriously after the success of California, why would Mark and Travis want Tom back in the band? On the flip side, besides the money, why would Tom want to come back either considering how unhappy he was.

 

I'm a bit surprised that Tom has never just taken a solid break from social media.

 

There's no way Tom doesn't get money as is.

I've always bought into the theory that he was okay with it because they initially reached an agreement allowing Mark/Travis to do whatever they want with the blink name/brand (hence no "w/ Matt Skiba" on the tour) for a temporary period of time, expecting nothing to happen, and BTS is trying to get it back

 

Let's all pitch in and buy this to use as a vacation home for all of us, whenever we are in LA.

Tom sure has been posting tons of throwback pics of himself while in Blink lately.

 

If you could put two band mates with current Tom (Mark, Travis, Matt, Dan, Derek excluded) who would they be? And what style of music would this fantasy band play?

 

One of these people would have to be someone Tom respects musically a great deal who could actually keep him in check.

Beat me to it. I was going to say the only answer is Bono and Tom would have to grow his hair out like he did during the AVA WDNTW phase.

But it would only work if Bono agreed to no producers and they would send music ideas and files through hotmail and AOL instant
Messenger.
