They did the right thing the next night on RAW, by letting guys wrestle because they wanted to, not because it was storyline, etc.

But, imagine being in that crowd, seeing Hart fall like that, and then the next thing you hear, not sure if Owen is alive or dead, is "Hello, ladies..."

 

What's this in reference to? The showdown with Nak at the last tapings, or has something else come out on his deal?

 

Excited for the rumble tomorrow

 

Really enjoyed Takeover. Every match was much better than I anticipated it being. Best Nakamura match since his first match in NXT vs Zahn. Very excited for the Rumble tomorrow.

 

Also Percy Watson is awful. Replace him with Corino and you have a really solid NXT announce team.

- Dillinger actually has a top 5 theme song in the company. I will never forgive whoever decided to make chanting Ten at every count a thing. Its awful and hope to God its only this match. I wonder if they’re going outside so much so the crowd gets it out of their system. Tye should lose by count out and then blame it on the crowd because he didn’t know where the count was. Really good match, finish was great. Tye looked fantastic the entire match. Really hope he’s Rumble bound tonight.

- Joe is definitely Rumble bound and its going to be awesome.

- Roddy is great, but he’s the epitome of all of the issues with NXT right now. Great in ring, but lacks any depth to his character. Almas is really starting to come into his own though, the heel turn helped him out a lot. He’s so easily dislikeable. That backbreaker to the top turnbuckle was gnarly. I’m REALLY surprised that Roddy won that. I hope they have something good for him lined up. Thought Almas needed that a whole lot more.

- Man, AOP just does nothing for me. Paul Ellering is so stuck in the 80’s with his whole gimmick. If AOP wins, I hope its just absolute destruction so that DIY has something to fight back for. I don’t think they should lose the titles so soon and don’t think AOP is ready to hold the belts yet either. CIAMPA GOING BANANAS. Fantastic hot tag. DOUBLE SPEAR! SHADES OF ROMAN AND GOLDBERG! That was a really good match, I just have trouble agreeing with AOP taking the titles. Also, that neckbreaker/powerbomb combo should be the AOP finish, not the clothesline/Russian leg sweep. What I do like is that a purely developmental team is holding the titles now. Hopefully they really focus on improving these guys a lot. DIY is already great and can do well with little spotlight, AOP is really going to benefit with this.

- ROLLINS HOLY SHIT! HE FOUND TRIPLE H! Oh my God this is great. I am all about this oh my fuck. Honestly thought Triple H was going to send out the Authors of Pain haha. Did NXT Haitch just turn heel? I kinda hope Rollins fucks up the main event now. Because I really don’t care about that match.

- This is going to be match of the night. Best build of any match on the show. This should be main eventing. Stoked for Asuka to kill everyone. Nikki Cross is awesome. I didn’t realize there was a table next to the announce table. Great spot and Peyton and Billie being so proud of themselves and running way was hilarious. Peyton Royce is actually really good. Man, that was such a short match, but good fun.

- Battle of the entrances time, this is the real match. Oh my, even the women in Roode’s entrance think this is hysterical. Loved it. Honestly thought Nakamura was entering in one of those old school rings that they used at Wrestlemania 3. That would’ve been awesome, this is great too though. I think Roode wins the battle of the entrances, give him the belt. Roode not getting up for the Kinshasa got a really good laugh out of me. Holy shit did not expect that match or finish. Naka to the rumble?

Fun show, can’t complain. For a show that had no build, this was great.

Haha, it's the biggest non-WM gate ever and on the outskirts of Von Erich country. The Alamodome would become the Sportatorium for two minutes if Von Erich flashed on the tron.
