my grandpa threatened to rip out any facial piercing I might get when I was younger, but the first time I showed up with my nose ring, he just made some comment about there being something shiny on my face, and that's all he's ever said about it.

 

anyone ever flown to a foreign country to get a tattoo? there's an artist in South Korea that I am in love with

I have a $100 gift card from Christmas for this tattoo place in town...I need to go soon.

 

I debated spending all of my Christmas cash on tattoos, splurged on some new snowboard boots instead.

 

Haha, 'bout to go snowboarding on my bday in Denver. Just renting all that shit though since i live in FL...though i am a good snowboarder.

 

I've never been, seems like something I'd like though.

 

yeah, I go once a week or so, renting would add up fast.

edit: that might come off a little jockish, i live in the midwest so you'll probably get more vertical over a weekend in CO than I will all season, haha.

 

Set up an appointment to get one of those fancy cats done of my now dead best friend because Im a nerd. The most ive spent on a tattoo is $100 and this is going to be double that. Eek!

Don't remember if anyone ever saw my Modest Mouse tattoo back in August, but I finally got it finished and wanted to show it to everyone! I meant for the artist to put quotations around "Goodbye", but we were pressed for time, so I will get those around it sometime.




What do you all think?

Pressed for time for quotation marks? Those must be the fanciest quotation marks.

 

When he got just about done, he realized he only hsd 10 minutes left until the shop closed, snd he works a day job too, and he is a family friend, so I didn't want to cut into his little bit of time for sleep for something as little as quotation marks. Haha

 

The artist I've gone to for my 2 biggest pieces was incredibly slow, which she even admitted. I didn't end up leaving the shop till like 4 both times, well after closing lol! Both look good though and that's the important thing

 

@MatthewDuke I love the colouring and the details of the eye. Looks great.

 

Got my batman/villain sleeve finished today. Scarecrow and the riddler' question mark added today :)

 

Damn that Scarecrow is sick!
