What if Omega rumors were just a distraction to get us off the scent from Punk's return on Sunday?

That's gonna fill 4 hours? I mean, even giving 1:15 to the Rumble, that means 4 matches are gonna fill the space of a regular 2.5-3hr PPV?

I can see Swann/Neville going 20, Cena/AJ going 30...but we're talking insane shenanigans to make Owens/Reigns go 30. And same insanity to make Charlotte/Bayley go 15-20. And thats only about 2hrs of show.

 

That said, a 30 minute war between AJ and Cena, with 40k (maybe even 50k) people cheering it on. Thats gonna be awesome

 

Well, shit. I want to go to the rumble in Philly. I bet i could sell my girlfriend on a beer trip to Philly that ends with the Rumble. We were going to go to Philly this summer then decided not to.

 

Watchin the 2014 rumble. Holy fuck what a pissed off crowd.

 

i was watching 2015 earlier...when DBry goes out, my god does that crowd turn. There's like a 5 minute long "Daniel Bryan" chant after he's eliminated, and then it goes downhill.

Oddly, 2017 rumble has those same odds if its Goldberg/Taker/Lesnar in the final 5-6

okay i have to stay strong...no wrestling spoiler websites until after rumble

 

Crowd will also probably turn if they don't do Tye at number 10 which worries me. I think they have plans for him, but I don't think they involve the rumble and if the crowd ruins the rumble because of him it might kill any push he'd get.

Hopefully they'll send out Miz to Bryan's music at number 10. Might as well embrace the heat.

 

all three of those could be decent matches getting sent to kickoff hell makes me worry for this ppv.

we're 10 minutes of roman reigns bullshit away from having to count on the Rumble to save the show. and given the way WWE has done them the past few years, that is not something you want

 

What the hell are the start times for the pre-show and actual show?

 

Preshow: 5 est
Main show: 7 est

 

I think if I get to my moms by 6:30, I won't miss anything of value.

I'm gonna be absolutely pissed if Tye doesn't come out at 10, they better have someone who i can't bring myself to boo like one of the three legends in the Royal Rumble or Kane (still a big Kane fan, sue me)

 

I'm not even a big Tye Dillenger fan and i know im gonna mark the fuck out if he shows up
