Phx has valley bar, the pressroom, crescent ballroom, the rebel lounge, last exit live and that's all i can think of. All or most are in the downtown area.

I Call Fives asked if they should play a show this year. I'm sure it would be on the east coast.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

I'll probably skip this since I saw them on the last tour and I can't see this being any different. They put on a fantastic show if you're on the fence about it.

On one hand, I'd love for this to come to the US. On the other hand, no one would go to it.

And Evanescence wouldn't be the headliner lol

Jasta (3/29-4/09) and Code Orange (4/11-5/07) added as extra support

If this lineup made it to the US, it'd be 5FDP/Zombie/Rammstein.

I thought the same thing. I know Neck Deep is "in" right now, but I would have guessed The Maine was at least twice their size.

Neck Deep is somehow extremely huge. I don't get it

Keep in mind certain bands draw more or less in foreign markets, you can't compare their popularity here to their popularity in Australia.

They're definitely bigger than The Maine here as well

I'd agree with that. The Maine are falling into that "not doing support tours" trap, it's really hindered their growth and isolated their fanbase.

Yeah it's really dumb when bands do that. I feel like the same thing is happening with TWY. They didn't do a single support tour during the NCTH cycle

Yeah, I saw someone ask the dude putting on that tour about putting Neck Deep above The Maine and his reasoning was that Neck Deep's last Australian tour sold much better than The Maine's. There's a bunch of international pop punk bands that are weirdly big over here and Neck Deep are one of them.

I'm surprised people are surprised Neck Deep is bigger than the The Maine. The Maine had been steadily declining in popularity the last few years and Neck Deep has done nothing but constantly increase their fanbase by doing smart support tours. Does anyone remember when Real Friends and Knucklepuck outdrew The Maine on their own headliner? Neck Deep is easily atop the current crop of pop punk bands along with with TSSF and TWY. State Champs are up there as well, but they are going to be aiming heavily towards the pop rock genre in the near future in my opinion.

Not to mention the fact that Neck Deep appeals to the ATL crowd way more than The Maine.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I've noticed that too. It sucks too because I don't think there are a TON of bands they could support at this point in this scene, aside from the really big ones like Blink.
