Was actually sort of looking forward to RE7, oh well. Saved myself money and will just have to wait until Sniper Elite 4 to start my gaming year.

im still trying to figure out why anyone would sit through a 7 hr stream of something they were bored by.

anyways, RE7 is great.

 

The series really did need a reboot and return to roots, RE7 seems to be exactly that.

 

It's so weird to have that extreme of an opinion on a game you've never even played. I'm excited to get RE7. Probably will be a while until I get to it, but I'm still pumped.

Beat Watch Dogs 2 tonight. I had a good amount of fun with it. Side missions were cool, story was pretty fun. Definitely glad to have played it. Moving onto Telltale Batman now!

 

Yeah I don't understand why he had such a negative opinion of a twitch stream.

 

wow nice two fun games in a row good 4 u Joe, let us know what u think. i wasn't like, enamored with Batman, but it was nice to have something that wasn't the walking dead lol xD speaking of which, i DO want the third season eventually. i forgot it was released

 

I'm not completely against action heavy games and will play them from time to time, but I definitely do prefer more slower style games hah. I enjoyed playing that game quite a bit but I definitely required the use of a strategy guide and don't know if I'd play it again on a higher difficulty. Batman:Arkham games are some of my favorites and if that isn't action heavy I don't know what is lol!

 

I totally forgot season three started already too haha

It'll be a nice change of pace too after an open world game. I get burnt out of open world games quick, so I'm glad to have something a little more linear to play through.

 

Oh damn, I should have remembered Batman, ha. I just remember you mentioning you're not huge on shooting and whatnot. Evil Within struck a very good balance.

playing re7 in the dark with headset on is fucking unnerving. couldn't be happier with how this turned out.

 

I played a video game for the first time since January 3rd!!!

...It was Overwatch.

(I was mentally in a bad place at the end of last year, so I wanted to stop playing video games for a bit to focus on myself. So it wasn't like I was busy with school or work or anything, but I guess I was busy in a way.)

Hopefully I'll find some time to make progress on FFXIII as well, but damn, that Lunar New Year event, yo.

I know there has been a lot of arguing in this thread lately. I realize that I was antagonistic, BUT he was being pretty negative about a game he hasn't played. Having said that I will refrain from commenting about the matter further.

 

My devotion to Stardew Valley is inexplicable.

hour and half of re7 and this is everything i wanted and more.

 

Episode 2 BTT: Opted to save Selina because I figured it's Harvey's destiny to get his faced fucked up lol
Overall the detective/investigation moments and the combat linking have to be some of my favorite features from a Telltale game.

 

Absolutely agree, the combat is fantastic as well and the fighting cinematics are just badass

 

Cool hearing everyone's enjoying RE7. Wish I could handle it. Could do RE1-5 and stuff, but this game seems too spooky for me. :(

 

If you were able to play 1-3 I think you would be able to handle this one. It's tense and creepy for sure, but nothing worse than anything those threw at me. So far anyway.

 

Me and my nephew have this weekly ritual where I play as the Kings on nba2kwhatever, and I can only beat him about half the time these days.
Kids grow up to quick.

 

I don't really see how Resi 7 is a "return to the roots", and I have played most old Resi games. Resi 7 is really just the result of another major publisher copying recent indie games (in this case horror games) and slapping a brand on it. Also, I'd rather see Capcom make Resi games like Resi 4, the actual best Resi game, which is why I was quite happy with the Revelations games. That's just me though.
