Kylo turning away from the dark side to take on Snoke would be amazing.

Honestly I can't wait for this. Being a big Star Wars fan and a big Luke fan, I can't wait to see how his story unravels in the next episode.

Plus R2 and Luke reunited....I don't know how I will hold back all the feels.

I still genuinely think this is a great title. Surprised at the wide rang of responses, most of them not super excited about it. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" really has that big adventure vibe that characterized this franchise's roots.

I'm definitely not quite buying the theory that Luke is literally the last Jedi, with Force-wielding looking different going forward. But, at the same time, I'd really like that. Moving on past the traditional approaches of Jedi and Sith would be narratively cool. It's not like those strict cultures couldn't be further explored via future "Story" films, while new "Episodes" explore these new approaches to the Force.

It's going to be Luke and Rey, for certain. I just hope Kylo Ren isn't the bad guy for two more movies. They can't introduce Snoke for no reason either.

I want some cheesy Snoke "I am an immortal God" monologue in 8 really bad.

As much as I'd like to see Kylo Ren turn to good, I think it would be impossible after killing Han. Maybe, since he is infatuated with Vader, he pulls a last minute type thing to help Luke or Rey in some battle.

Who says Rey is a Jedi, though?

Again, I feel like they'll go the safe route and make her a Jedi, but it'd be cooler if they didn't. Not all good Force-wielders need to be Jedi Knights. I'd love to see Luke address the shortcomings of the Jedi and push Rey towards a new, deeper understanding of the Force.

Name someone in the Star Wars universe that practiced the Force, and was NOT either a Jedi or Sith (or some other evil thing). Was Yoda a Jedi?

There is a fad of the female action hero, so yes, she will become a Jedi and be one of the last standing when it's all said and done.

Maybe in some other canon stuff, like the numerous books or cartoons, etc. But in the movies?

There are implications in the OT that Leia has Force sensitivity

    Maz Kanata.

Though, to be fair, her using the force was left on the cutting room floor. Whether she just feels it or uses it is not certain, canonically speaking.

I haven't seen Rogue One, so I wasn't aware of him.

I know it's been suspected that Leia had some Force ability, and who knows, we could still see it.

    Well goddamnit.

My point still stands though, she'll be a Jedi by the end of the franchise.
