This was way more difficult than I expected.

 

haha, just watched the 2016 Rumble...my god did they take a lump there. Axel got in 2 moves, then every member ate a superman punch, Axel a spear, then he got dumped.

They had potential, but, got jobbed to everyone

 

And having watched last years Rumble has me really excited for 2017. They did a good job of keeping fairly strong-seeming contenders who entered early (Ryback, Kane) from looking weak. They used just the right amount of jobbers to keep it moving.

Helps that Big Show and Mark Henry also got eliminated pretty quickly so there was no story around them

Just saw on his facebook that he is done with AAA

 

Which means he's also done on LU apparently. Just read that LU and AAA have a partnership where Lucha cant book talent that has left AAA.

 

That sucks but makes sense. He's probably gonna go make a shit ton of money on American indies for a while.

 

That's not entirely (if at all) true. They have a working relationship and some of the same management but are played as two different entities. Jack Evans was fired from AAA and worked some of the LU house shows more recently. No word on whether he will be a part of season four, but as of right now, he seems to be on board.

If this does end up being the case, and Pentagon is out of AAA, LU is going to have a tough time going forward.

 

I've heard in some shoots that he makes an absolute killing in merch sales at shows he appears at.

 

I saw Fenix vs. Mundo last month and that shit was dope.

 

Gotcha. Though I wonder if fired vs leaving makes a big difference too. And obviously, in terms of popularity, Pentagon is way bigger than Jack Evans.

But thats also a reason for LU to fight for Pentago to be allowed to continue

 

Without getting into particulars, they literally cannot let him go.

The whole taping situation kinda has them fucked at the moment. If he walks away from that, it's gonna be a mess or they are going to have to reshoot some stories (which may actually be in their favor)

He guys, gimme some good excuses as to why I need to leave work early at 8PM on sunday so I can watch the whole rumble.

NOTE: This is my job I do on my side, not my actualy job. It's delivering food lol. I work all day starting at 11AM through the night. Usually get off around 9. But that is unacceptable this week.

 

Will you really be missing anything of substance though? I don't think the Rumble will start before 9.
