I think I'm just so skilled at my unskilled job I'm able to do a days work while hanging out with all of you.

 

I work hard but like not at the right things? I'm busy all day but don't get any of my paperwork done ever.

 

Also, being the smallest person in my department I had to be boosted by two people up into a tree today and it was weird and we didn't even get what we needed from the tree. They were like "oh, let's just find trees with lower branches we can reach" Like that was an option??? So what did I get boosted onto a tree for????

 

Weird to admit, but the most terrifying night of my life occurred when a girl I had been seeing put one of these films on.

I always save up for emergencies which is smart, but I think I'm sensible enough and can live a little and find a balance. I had a former friend who LOVED those movies. I watched the OG one with him, I thought it was just another grindhouse movie but with a weird sexual fetishization of Nazis.

One time, I met a girl for the first time at her place and we decided to watch a movie. I saw The Dark Crystal, which I literally had not watched since I was a kid at that point, and suggested that. Hoo boy, that was an awkward night.

 

I'd be into it.

 

This girl was not into it at all, she would look at me from time to time like I was some crazy man making her watch a super dark children's movie. We made it through most of the movie until we mutually agreed to stop watching it and watch something else. I think we ended up watch Friends, but the damage was done.
