Pence's slam surely helped. Panik, Posey, Duffy, and Pence will carry that offense this year and that is not a bad thing.

Anyone see Bomani Jones' shirt this morning on ESPN?

Diamondbacks realllllly need to go back to this beautiful color scheme. These were the best uniforms in baseball at one point.

I really think Mat Latos is underrated and White Sox fans should be happy with that signing. For 1 year and $3M, I wish the Tigers signing him.

Not a great first pitch for Lackey.

Lackey will need time to gel but Oof, not the way he wants to start out.

Are you a fan of the direction they're headed towards in the future? Also AJ Preller fan or no?

I wonder what it'd feel like to pitch with this lineup? Lackey comes out and has a rough inning, they come right out and get them back.

I don't think it affects their performance, but it'd be nice to know if you screw up, your team can get you right back in it.

This lineup is utterly scary. Theo is doing it right and he's got Maddon, an excellent manager, steering the ship

the dbacks fancy new rotation gets the first four games. that's a lineup that can rake with the best of them, they just gotta get SOME pitching.

Oh no Schwarber down after a bad collision with Fowler

Corbin was tops not too long ago. It would be nice to see Archie Bradley get going. Those two with Greinke and Miller would make a solid rotation.

Schwarber and Fowler collide. Hope Kyle is ok.

There are definitely more of us than there were previously so that's a good sign. And we've all been very civil so far!

  23. That looked bad for Schwarber.

Hopefully it looked worse than it is. Collision looked bad but it looked like he was moving his leg okay.

News on once the clouds are gone. Prestigious

Baseball collisions tend to, though for some reason baseball players are the most injury prone so he could've gotten a paper cut and been out two weeks
