Sober would be ahead of SOOHM. They're probably just going to milk the crap out of this album with how successful its been. Good for them.

  2. Your morning lasted 3:49 ?

Really interesting, especially since all of us thought it was a mistake for them to release a 2nd single so late and they lost momentum with the tour ending and the album not being new anymore.

I still think it was a mistake releasing it so late, SOOHM should have been a single in mid July/early August and the 3rd single should have hit in late October/early November. But what do I know?

  4. I heard that song 3 times this weekend on the radio in my car. So that was neat.

Haven't heard it once in Boston. The only alt station I know (ALT 92.9) pretty much plays Lit, Weezer, the Lumineers, and Evanescence. It's a weird station, haha

  6. They play it a lot here in Philly. The more this success happens the more it tells me it's going to derail Trio.

Waiting for ATDI to finish and release their album/tour.

I only heard BTD once or twice on 92.9 and heard it in some ads. Though I haven't had my car since (literally) the weekend California came out.

and yeah 92.9 plays lumineers and imagine dragons way too much.

but them playing wake me up got me so hyped for the day, yesterday morning

I usually listen to CDs and my MP3 player, so I don't listen to the radio much. But when I do I have heard BTD and SOOHM on it

I hear it like 3 times a day on 104.5 whenever I listen to the radio (Which isn't often)

Glad these guys are having continued success with the new album.

I rarely listen to the radio but I feel like I've heard SOOHM quite a bit more than BTD. I thought it was weird they were waiting so long to drop the 2nd single but it seems like the delay really didn't matter. I'm guessing Sober or Home will be the 3rd single, coming around March-April.

I haven't listened to California in months. I'll revisit it but I'm more looking forward towards newer, (hopefully) darker material.

  12. i think i've said it before, but when i think about California now, i don't really feel like listening to it generally. but if i think of specific songs i like from it, or if i tell myself i'll only listen to the songs i like, i end up listing 3/4 of the album, which is a lot more than Neighborhoods. so yeah, that's my feelings on it.

    Sleekest of beaks. So Good.

Same I skip the joke songs, teenage satellites and California. Those 4 just really do nothing for me but i enjoy the other 12 alot. Where neighborhoods theres like 3-4 I go back to and 1 from DED.

Anxious for details/a new song from the deluxe.

  16. California is a fun album for me just for the sole fact my girlfriends 7 year old son loves singing along to it. He literally knows every word.

I listen to basically the whole thing minus the joke songs. May skip Teenage Sattelites on occasions.

Never understood that place, apparently Neighborhoods is like the second coming of christ and California is evil incarnate.

I looove me some California, and Neighborhoods has some nice songs, but they all sound so flat and the production is terrible.

I'm also a big fan of Feldmann's production, kinda hoping he's going to produce ADTR's next record, that D.R.U.G.S record he did a couple years back sounded so good.

the ships have all sailed to the sea

I know we all know the subreddit is terrible so I'm not saying anything new here, but good god. It's like they're under the impression that Blink hasn't been a pop-punk band for the majority of its existence. Don't get me wrong, Untitled is my favorite Blink album and I'm glad they experimented, but the fact that California leans towards to the Enema/TOYPAJ sound is like blasphemy to them.

Shouldn't we get a song somewhat soon? Maybe 2 weeks? If it's a February release, I can imagine a song trickling out beforehand to get the hype flowing again.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

They haven't done like anything this forum thinks they should so who knows! Haha

But two number one alternative songs, I guess I can't question them. Who could've expected even that honestly lol. You'd think at worst they put out a new song right before the Grammys though.
