Just installed that tonight (Finished FFXV, UC 1-4, played a game of Madden 17 and now finally getting to Mafia 3. Took forever for the initial install after the game was downloaded lol.

So I picked up Yakuza 0 on a whim at an independent game store here in the city, not realizing it isn't actually out for like 9 more days

Anyway, it's my first in the series and WOW does it rule. It's so campy and brutal and just the kind of palette cleanser I needed from FFX, FFXV, and other random games I've been into lately.

 

Oh yeah Inside is better than Limbo in everyway...


And I love Limbo

 

ok twitch app on Xbox one is eh to me. The reason I liked the 360 app compared to the One is the ability to refresh who is on without having to quit out of the appz

 

So for Christmas I got Watch Dogs 2, Mafia III, Battlefield 1, Infinite Warfare, and Batman Telltale, and I finally get time to start playing them tomorrow. Think I'm gonna start with Batman since I just went on that huge TT games marathon a month or so back (idk if anyone remembers).

Can't wait to dive into all of this, I'm still trying to get Rise of the Tomb Raider, Dishonored 2 and Titanfall 2 too

 

Less in what terms? Shadow was basically 16 bosses. There's more to it in that sense.

 

In terms of shooting Gears is so infinitely better than Uncharted it's not even funny. Uncharted is probably better or at least equaly as good as most others though, though I do think Mafia 3 had some great shooting.

I'll take the shooting in Uncharted over Gears any day, especially when you consider the movement too. Uncharted is fluid as hell whereas in Gears you always feel like a tank.

I'm not a big Gears fan at all though, I got like two levels in to the second before I quit.

 

Dude it's not even close. You'd have to play competitive multiplayer to really understand it though, I think. There is a reason Uncharted multiplayer is barely a thing. And yes, the movement in Gears is different from most other games, I have to get used to it every time a new Gears comes out.

 

I hated Gears online. Don't care about Uncharted online either though.

 

I don't care for online play in general unless it's co-op. Any game that more geared to multi like COD or Battlefiled I'll play for like a month at most and just get bored.

 

The shooting is way better in Uncharted 4 than in Gears imo

 

I like Gears of War btw, just greatly prefer the mechanics in UC4

 

Currently playing through Batman myself. On Episode 3 and it's great so far, hope you enjoy it!

 

Idk. Gameplay depth, general depth, game length, environments.

 

I don't like gears but there's a reason it's played in mlg and uncharted isnt. I actually really liked uncharted 2s multi when it came out and I had a ps3. But i dont feel like its really that novel. There's kinda quite a few 3ps games that feel similar to it. I've seen friends play the other ones too.

 

I remember when they first started showing gameplay from Gears 1 in like '05. I thought it looked so amazing. The campaign looked all sci-fi/horror esque, and I was all about it. The campaigns were the weakest part of that franchise in hindsight. Loved loved the mp. Played the first one online for months.

Having said that I prefer Uncharted shooting mechanics. Though Gears has the best cover system around.

 

I'd say it's about on par for the most part. Theres not as many distinctly different environments but everything else is similar. Slightly more plot. I think I prefer Shadow as a whole but it's not that far off. I'd say it's better than Ico.

 

Poison Ivy, Darkseid, and Brainiac. Holy shit.
