Yeah, because the lady who dropped off her car was the racist email. I don't think it ever implied or hinted at the married mans prostitute was underage did it? And I never caught was the man on the scooter who delivered the cake was black mailed for?

I think the other man in the woods assumed that he was also caught with CP because as far as we know, the unknown man's only interaction with anyone else from the mission was the main kid who basically confessed to "looking at pictures" and he followed up with "pictures...yeah me too. How young were they?" and he starated to cry.

No, I think I implied it myself mainly with the reveal at the end being too convenient otherwise for me and the others, especially Bron's character, going through such risks to protect the information. It kind of tied those together for me. You're probably right though now that you mention it.

The Waldo moment gets too much shit. I think everyone should rewatch it.

What was lazy about it? Also it makes sense that the people who have done worse things have worse consequences no?

I thought saving such a hyperbolic reveal until the end as a twist took away from the more interesting themes of technology's weaponizing and invasiveness, and replaced it with a convenient but trite theme of vigilante justice. It added shock value instead of rounding out the more interesting and novel themes.

And as for the consequences, I agree, but as I mentioned earlier I had previously thought everyone was somehow involved with pedophilia.

Shut Up and Dance would have been better without the troll face

I still think the troll face is great and makes the episode feel much closer to our reality than probably any other episode in the series but I can see why people are turned off by it.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

One thing we can all agree on that rules in Shut Up and Dance is...

    We hope...that you choke...

Shut Up and Dance is my favorite, outside of White Christmas and The Entire History of You.

I didn't think the troll face was cheesy at all; people still use it now. And I didn't see the twist coming at all, but that's how I usually watch movies or TV; I don't try and figure it out ahead of the time.

I saw the twist coming in San Junipero too, doesn't make that episode any less special or perfect.

I feel like in San Junipero it wasn't meant to be a "twist" if that makes sense

In minority here but I thought Shut Up and Dance was easily the best episode of S3. For the most part, thought S3 was kind of weak (compared to first 2 seasons).

I felt that way about Shut Up and Dance. I thought San Junipero was supposed to be more of a reveal than SU&D was. SJ had me trying to figure out what was going on for most of the episode whereas with SU&D I just assumed immediately what it probably was.

I should probably rewatch it but I remember being really confused about Blue finding the dude who orchestrated the whole thing.

Not that I can remember. But again, I'm a little hazy on the details.

I don't think it was explained. We go from the court setting to another part of the country. All we see of Blue post attack is in that large warehouse full of bodies, and how she blamed herself for whatever reason.

  24. EngineDown

they don't explain it. kelly macdonald implies that blue killed herself after the guilt of all the deaths that day but in reality she was going undercover or whatever to track the dude, they were pretty vague on the details

Just started this recently, I'm only through Nosedive. I pretty much hated the first two episodes and gave up on it. Was convinced to give it another chance and glad I did. Be Right Back, White Bear, and White Christmas are all great. And Nosedive makes me want to never like another picture. In a good way lol.
