I liked the idea of it. It just got hard, and I got frustrated and quit.

I bought Zero Time Delimma and Yoshi's New Island today.

Hoping I come across a copy of Bravely Default that's not 50-60 bucks, but it seems unlikely unless they do another print run Bayonetta 2 style.

Wow. That's too much. But I'd prob get the same price here (nothing announced yet). Haha.

Yep. Even if Zelda was packed in with the console for $300 I would be MUCH happier.

Definitely the person here who has played the least amount of Zelda. Changing that this year.

So far ALBW is my favorite. But from the looks of it Wind Waker will probably take the spot by the time I'm finished. Toon Link's reaction to everything is adorable, even angry Toon Link looks so harmless.

Did anyone play TriForce? I've been meaning to start it but its ridiculous that you need 3 people to enjoy the best experience.

Also I linked a tumblr account to my Wii U just so I can save screenshots. Hassle but it's the only way I know. That selfie with the great deku tree gets me every time.

    Console $300
    Pro Controller $70
    Joy Con charging Grip $30
Extra pair of Joy Cons for 4 player gaming $80
    Zelda $60
    Mario Kart $60

    Tax $58

$658 out the door. Absolutely absurd. This company is soooooo greedy.

To be fair, technically if you want to commit to 4 player gaming in other consoles you'd need around 100USD for 3 extra controllers. Not saying the price isn't absurd. But I spent roughly the same amount for my wiimotes (without nunchucks) and I was fine with that.

Is pro controller really that needed? I feel like the joycon with grip would be fine. It sucks that the charging grip isn't prepackaged but I'm not gaming for 20 hours straight anyway.

Yeah I guess the Pro controller won’t necessarily be needed. Will have to figure out if I can play effectively with just the Joy-cons and the grip.

PS4 Slim $300 (with one of the greatest games ever)
3 extra controllers $180 (at full retail. As low as $105 on sale days like Black Friday)
    extra game $60

So $600 at the most with tax.

Switch isn’t on the same level as PS4/Xbox One.

If they can’t figure out how to produce it similarly to how Sony and Microsoft do then that is their own fault.

    Makes me super mad haha.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

pro controller was the only way I played most Wii games that allowed it.

I would also want pro controller for Switch also.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Yeah, I'm confused about the issue with this charging grip. The battery lasts for 20 hours. Seems to me this is only a necessity for people who are going to play for over 20 hours straight on their tv and can't remember to slide the joycons onto the switch in the dock overnight? Lol I would never need the charging grip ever.

Now I'm curious. Not a priority but I'll def consider it at some point in the future.

@chcougar1 But an X1 or a PS4 Pro isn't portable. That's huge. Maybe not for everyone, but to a lot of people definitely. I really don't think it should be compared to those by looking at its technical aspects. I really want to see what happened behind the scenes and what Nintendo could've done to cut costs. I agree it sucks. But given those 2 options I'd def pick Switch with one zelda game than a home console with 2 games. But I agree it does suck.

Hopefully in a year Ninty will profit and sell Switch at a lower price? Is that how economics work? Haha.

I loved the ergonomics of the wiimote and nunchuck, how I could kinda stretch out and sit in a variety of positions. So I doubt I'll ever use the grip with the joycons.

The HD rumble seems kinda cool, but if not having it reduced the price of all this gear significantly, I'd prefer not having it.
