Matt definitely seems a lot more comfortable than when they were on Colbert.

Thanks for the link. It was entertaining, thats for sure. Threw me back to First Date live TV performances.

But Mark's bass was too high, Matt's guitar was too low during parts, and I really think Travis needs to shave off the facial hair. My dad has the same facial hair style and he wears white new balance shoes.

I think their best late night performance was STFTK on Leno. They sounded so nasty.

agreed - right after 9/11 too. Tom sounded his best at that exact moment.

I always loved The Rock Show live from that show. The way they played it fast then slowed it way down for the bridge. So good. I Miss You was great too though.

What was it that made that performance sound so good? Is it because Tom actually gave a shit? IDK For the record, I adore Tom Delonge. I love the music he puts out. AVA and BCR give me goose bumps.

I find their best live TV performance was "A Letter To Elise"

They honestly should have just recorded a studio version. They played it so well.

I've been saying they should go back to playing it that way for a while now. So fun.

Blink-182 playing RodeoHouston is fucked up. Like, why?!
Also, the best blink-182 live show was the first after reunion. Tom's voice and guitar... Mmmmmm

Hypothetical question for you: let's say you can go back in time and stop Tom from making the BCR album, thus there being no Untitled album, no band break up, no AVA band, no +44, no Neighborhoods, DED, California or Tom writing books/movies/anything to do with To The Stars. Instead we continue to get similar albums to Enema/TOYPAJ for the next 14ish years but with Tom being the Tom we all know and love(d). Would you do it?

This is a hard question. But ultimately I'd say no because I LOVE Untitled, BCR, WYHSB AND California. I don't know what would come from the alternate reality offered here maybe better things....but a world without Feeling This and the rest is something I cannot get behind lol I like the darker 'maturish' blink we got

I don't think so. I love BCR and Untitled too much for them to have never existed.

I'm just fine with this blink timeline we have. Untitled (my third favorite album ever) exists and my two favorite frontmen (Skiba being responsible for my 2nd favorite album ever, FHTI) are in a band together lol.

And Boxcar Racer is my favorite thing Tom ever did on his own by far.

Yeah I hear you and probably agree. Feeling This is my favorite blink song and Untitled is just great and one of my favorite albums ever.

Plus I'd have to think that even if BCR never existed the band probably would have broken up anyway as there were a lot of tension even recording TOYPAJ and Mark even made comments that he felt blink had unofficially broke up at the end of 2001. As good of friends Mark and Tom seemed to me, it just looks like as they got more successful their working relationship would suffer. In a way the band kind of feels like the movie "Butterfly Effect" where no matter what the main character does to try to change the past, the future ends up getting messed up anyway.
