I think it's funny people tend to forget about A Crow Left of The Murder. There were a couple of solid tracks on that album, especially Talk Shows on Mute. It's strange how people dismissed the sound of the album considering Morning View had tracks like Just A Phase, Are You In? and Echo. The progression was hinted at, but people wanted that radio-friendly rock I guess.

Since I'm harping on them so much, top songs in no particular order:

    Talk Shows on Mute
    Echo
    Deep Inside
    Summer Romance
    Clean
    Wish You Were Here
    Take Me To Your Leader
    Mexico

Matter of fact, Echo might be my favorite song from them. Listening to Morning View with headphones is an awesome experience. The entire album gives off a certain mood, not sure what it is, but Mike's guitar playing definitely has something to do with it.

I remember liking a couple of Audiovent songs a LOT back in the day, but no clue if I still would.

I didn't forget Crow, that's just my least favorite lol. Still like you said, some solid tracks on it.
    My top 10 would be:
Redefine, New Skin ,Certain Shade of Green, Favorite Things, Summer Romance, Nubla, Circles, Echo, Have You Ever and Aqueous Transmission.

Obviously SCIENCE and MV are my favs, but I like all their records overall.

That's because they are the greatest and still doing it. There is so much to talk about :-)

Ha! I actually re-listened to that Audiovent album not too long ago. I was on an early-2000's alt-rock kick. It was enjoyable background music still, but not anything I'd really go back to other than for nostalgia.

Back to Incubus, ACLOTM is highly underrated, it might be my favorite by them. And there's a video on some DVD they put out of Brandon doing the vocals for "Warning" from Morning View in one take and it's fantastic.

It's the little brothers of Brandon and Mike from Incubus, so that vibe was always there.

Yes it's his brother, but the mannerisms are identical.

Also, I remember seeing Greenwheel(!) and Audiovent open for Our Lady Peace back in like 2001 and at the time it was the greatest (or second greatest behind Dovetail Joint, Eve 6, and Third Eye Blind) concert I'd ever been to.

  18. I rocked the hell out of that Audiovent album in its day. They had some solid jams.

Fun fact: the drummer was later in Under the Influence of Giants with the AWOLNATION dude. Small world.

Wow, never expected to see Greenwheel mentioned here. I think I actually have an unreleased album by them kicking around on an old hard drive somewhere. I distinctly remember contacting a stranger on AIM and convincing them to send it to me haha.

The first two Adema albums are still so good, I always try to listen to them every couple years.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Only thing I remember about Adema is that the lead singer was the half brother of Jonathan Davis.
