Because love is meaningless unless mutual destruction and unhappiness are achieved when it ends. Duh. Some people say that love or affection is what allows one to have a good break-up, because you don't want to see them unhappy and want to maintain a friendly connection. Those people are fucking morons.

 

omg it's a pet peeve when people have weird rules like that. like omg everyone is different have some chill.

And not even just with relationships! I remember last year I had a hard time bringing up my bff/rm's annoying dogs to her bc some ppl act like their dogs are their kids so I didn't wanna insult her dog offspring and someone was like "Then she's not really your best friend if you are having trouble talking to her about it." like ok no but we are best friends I'm just bad at confrontation!!

 

Got some time and thus peace back to sort out frustrations within myself and of course; my relationship. She was feeling neglected and unwanted and I'm just here like ?? You were right here with me going through the same shit you know it's been crazy, that's why we haven't had US TIME. Love her to death but boy does she lose perception when she's upset lol.

But then again... maybe that's why she willingly expects my "Brattany" nickname for her lmao.

 

I'm ridiculously insecure

 

I find I am insecure yet at the same time I'm usually very keyed into the situations and people that make me so and there's usually some fire along with the smoke. That's not to say I'm right ALL THE TIME, i'm not so conceited to say that.... perhaps just bad luck matched up with a bad personality trait far too often lol.

 

I'm insecure in every aspect of my life except work lol

For the longest the only area I WASNT insecure was in my writing/poetry..... come to think of it, I'm still pretty much that way. lol

Like I love my comics I do but I worry about ppl thinking the fact I don't bother with actual realistic human figures (which I can do... it just doesn't fit, nor is wanted) they'll be like "Well it's good... for a comic"

I'm not insecure so much about faithfulness/trust as I am about like... I think I'm a bad kisser so I hate doing it lol. Or other little random things like that. Sometimes I'm not very confident in my knowledge about things. they'll ask me if I know what something is/means and I might but I'm not positive so I'll say no, they explain it, and then I realize my instinct was right and I did know what it meant and then I feel dumb/like I'm the dumbing urself down trope.

i now have a growing collection of short imessage convos with unsaved contacts it's really weirding me out

 

The other day I went to get Thai food and there was this couple sitting at a table and the guy was reading a book to his gf and it was weird. Not like a poem or short limerick but just reading a book aloud. They did not appear to be studying something. Clearly they were prob making better use of their time than I was watching them like a weirdo tho

Man, one of my favorite activities with my ex was cozying up and reading together. The best. We wouldn't read aloud tho

 

It's a whole different experience living with someone NOT in my parents basement lol. I love the freedom of having our own place, and there's enough room that we can have our own space if we need it. I'm really loving it so far, she made me a delicious home cooked meal last night and I did the dishes. Just doing regular normal shit like that has been nice

I used to be insanely insecure about fidelity and talking to exes and all that, but with my girlfriend I'm not even a little bit. Probably because we were best friends first, so the trust was already well established

 

I always used to fine it ~romantic in teen shows and movies where they'd climb up to someone's window or whatever but logistically like what are the odds that all these houses have a way to get up to the 2nd story window because that seems like a robbery hazard or something.
