I would kill for another Heavens record. I feel lucky enough to have seen them live.

 

I played the shit out of that album about 10 goddamn years ago.

 

Yeah no, In Reverie isn't for me. Some melodies are okay but it's like a post Maldroit Weezer album

I like California, it's certainly not a prime artistic accomplishment but it's got great melodies and that's basically all I look for from them anyway.

Basically my point, but I find it enjoyable nonetheless.

I couldn't bring myself to give a shit about anything that came after Stay What You Are.

 

I don't think every vocalist needs to be whitney Houston but saves the day is one of those cases where I'm just like ...why in the world did you decide singing was the correct path to take? Who let this happen?

But I feel that way about a lot of singers.

They peaked with Stay What You Are.

 

California is alright. Prob helps that I never held Blink up very high to begin with, so some moderately fun/tuneful pop-punk was about all I was looking for.

Saves the Day are cool.

Would you put a band like MxPx in the same category?

 

Stay What You Are does have some songs I can get into

 

Between Blink, Saves The Day, and Brand New there's enough songs for one great album

its their best but its not the only good one

 

I've actually never gotten into Arctic Monkeys at all. Don't dislike them but just never dove in.

 

Whatever People I Say I am, That's What I'm Not is the only album I've liked from the Arctic Monkeys. Speaking of them, I can't think of another band that went though such a drastic stylistic change from one album to another.

They were the band I used to fill the void when The Strokes went downhill.

 

It was the lo-fi, fast strumming band that I fell in love with.
