In Return of the Jedi, the Emperor has guards in red clothing/capes; any significance to them being red?

Red is a bad guy color, of course.

Hahaha, I thought maybe there was some Star Wars novel I hadn't read where maybe these guys in red were featured/explained in some way. Instead they're probably red for the sake of being red, haha

There is a reason there are red Lightsaber blades. But not for the guards that I'm aware of.

some of the pilgrims at Jedha looked like primitive versions of the Imperial Guards

I've got some audibile credits to use. I was thinking about using at least one on some of the the novels. I've heard Lost Stars is a must. Any other suggestions? (I've read Ahsoka, Catalyst, and the Rogue One novelization).

    Bloodline is pretty good, too!

I think Catalyst is pretty dry. I have yet to finish it.

Lost Stars, Bloodline, lords of the Sith, and Ahsoka are all great.

Got tickets to Celebration for Christmas so I'm super excited. Hoping for an autograph from Daisy Ridley or a picture with Mark Hamill

100% the best character out of the new material. Her solo book is a lot of fun.

People really seem to like this Dr. Aphra character. I've never been into comic books, but I might have to check this out.

Let me know what you think! She's such a great counter to the ruthlessness of Vader. Her droids are amazing too.

Do you think Dr. Aphra #1 is a good jumping off point or should I start with the Darth Vader comics?

Dr. Aphra picks up where Vader left off. It's not a bad jumping on point, but the character development from Vader helps the Aphra book a lot.

Thanks! I probably start with Dr. Aphra #1 just to dip my toes and see how I like it. If I get hooked (or feel like I need more info) probably I'll read Vader to help fill in the gaps.
