I guess this would be a good time to remind people that I do have two each tickets to each of the three Chicago shows. O:-)

I'm guessing this will be an opener announcement for these shows

Could also be adding a third show to each city.

Which I was really hoping they would do for Cleveland

Yeah, very true. But only the first San Francisco show is sold out so far I think. Wasn't sure if they'd jump the gun and add a 3rd one yet.

Added 3rd shows, but no mention of which albums?

Third Boston date is Sticks & Stones / Coming Home.

Really lame they didn't just make all the third shows have the albums the cities were missing. No need to play Sticks & Stones twice

As much as I'd love to hear Coming Home, I don't think I could handle three concerts in a row.

Would be cool if they added a 4th show in LA seeing as how quickly the other 3 sold out. Already going to SS/CH, but would love to see Self Titled as well.

I'll be going to Sticks & Stones/Catalyst in Santa Ana. Somehow have only just seen NFG play half of a warped tour set since I've been listening to them. I'm happy this will change that.

I noticed they are playing Sticks & Stones twice in Boston (3/30 & 4/01). I would love to find out how they decided what albums they were playing in each city.

  16. Bummed that some of these venues are so small. Thought I had time to plan a trip to a three-date city with some friends, but now that we have all the details worked out the tickets are all gone.

Did you expect them to play in arenas or something?

I'm curious as to why they are playing such small venues. I am going to assume it's because they want to bring it back to how it was when they first starting playing shows. They are playing the same venue in Chicago (Bottom Lounge) that they did their Sticks & Stones tour. They played House of Blues here for their self-titled tour which is double the size of Bottom Lounge. Sticks & Stones was a much more popular than self-titled.

Probably because there will be a summer or fall tour at appropriately sized venues following the album release. This is just a cool way to give back and allow people to experience a NFG show a different way

  20. cricketandclover

    Things have changed.

They've said they purposely chose small venues.

  21. Yes, because arenas are obviously next logical step over clubs with caps as low as 300.

I'm just saying, these venues are way smaller than they could be for a tour like this and it bums me out. The band can do whatever they want and I'm happy for the people going, but all things considered it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Go with yah bros to Mesa

  23. I probably won't, but if I hadn't already seen S&S live, I'd consider it. Sound at the Mesa venue is awful, unfortunately. Can't win em all I guess! Mainly wanted to see Coming Home and NGCS.
