Finally started Final Fantasy XV last night. Just played a bit but really enjoying it so far, ready to get back in to it when I'm not tired.

 

Really temped to grab Gears 4 for $20...

I can't justify buying physical if the digital includes a PC version.

 

I got my new Xbox One S all set up and it looks shiny and nice.

 

Never played that but the only one I've ever cared about is Mario Kart 64, Cruisin World, and Sonic Unleashed. But mainly Mario Kart 64

 

Yes physical. I typically prefer disc, also I don't have a PC that could run it sooooo not for me.

 

Smite is free to play

 

Unless you are like me and tells a friend not to buy gems but I proceed to spend over $60 in game.

It is a great game. One of the best of the year and criminally overlooked.

 

Darin de Paul, who voices Reinhardt in Overwatch, is the voice of Ardyn in FF XV.

This is unbelievable hahaha. He's incredible. You could have never guessed.

 

Diablo 3 on sale on PS4 for $20. I might just buy.

I think I'll buy it after Mirror's Edge Catalyst installs. I bought that for $12 on PSN like 5 minutes before the sale ended lol.

 

My worry is I typically don't finish Gears games haha

Console Diablo 3 is so much fun, the direct controls + roll for everyone made that game feel surprisingly fresh after playing it to death on PC.

 

Going to echo the praise for Diablo 3 on PS4. I actually played it on PS3 and then re-bought the Reaper of Souls edition on PS4 to play through it again because I enjoyed it so much. Blizzard knocked the port out of the park in every respect. Definitely worth $20. And now that they're bringing seasons to console next year it's finally going to be the complete experience on console. Going to have to get back into it when that update launches.

 

the new deus ex is also on sale at Best Buy for like $15.

It's probably been said every year but these holiday sales have been pretty dang good.
