I had to delete two guys I used to work with over Gamergate because it seemed like the excuse they were looking for to start spewing hate about women online. It got gross quick.

 

All I know is it has to do with women and video games. Other than that I don't know.

 

Summary: misogyny is alive and well in the world, with particular emphasis on the gaming community.

 

The gaming thread on here seems to be full of not-those-people, though, thank goodness.

 

Yeah, I've never once encountered a single person on AP with any type of biased against women or anyone for that matter. They always invited me to games even though I would drunkenly run into nests of zombies every single time. Good people all around.

 

To be clear, I'm not saying I think my friends are misogynists, but I do think they wouldn't like the way Anthony Burch wrote social issues into Borderlands 2, that sort of thing.

 

I hate it when bands do this cryptic shit. It drives me nuts.

I'm so over bands teasing things or making cryptic references.

 

I received a two hundred dollar Visa gift card and a two hundred and fifty dollar Barnes and Noble gift card from work. I'm pretty excited about the latter. The former will be cigarette money.

 

Just before when we were landing, we got right over the runway and then had to go around because another plane was still on the runway! I was pretty scared if I'm being honest haha.

Cryptic stuff can be cool but usually bands/artists do it pretty lazily

I very rarely read books and rarely watch movies. Terrible attention span.

 

i have over 20,000 ebooks in my Calibre library and it'll be years before I can finish the list.
And I'm pretty sure I have over 500 physical books.

 

Should I count my comic books? I've bought almost every single one of them over the last 16 months and I'm scared to know how many there are.

 

PRobably a good idea before it gets too overwhelming.

 

Wet are great yeah. Listened to that again today.

 

Never read a single comic book but I sure as hell enjoy the movies that are made about them. Including Batman V Superman. I enjoyed it pretty well actually.

 

I haven't read any in a few days but think I'm gonna lie down put some nice music on and read some comics tonight.
