Did they ever give a good reason for getting rid of Orsillo? That whole thing was super messed up I feel like. Who is even in the booth with Remy now?

 

Same and same. I remember camping as a kid and listening to the game from the car radio around a campfire. Extreme nostalgia

 

The reason given was ratings but obviously that has a hell of a lot more to do with the team than the arguably most beloved announcing team in the country. Truth is one of the NESN dudes just didn't like him. It'll be mostly Dave O'Brian but I think he missed a lot of spring training and maybe yesterday idk bc he was calling the NCAAW bball tourney

 

Signed up for the mid-tier PS Vue yesterday, and for the first time since I moved out from my parents house almost 10 years ago, was able to watch a Giants game from the comfort of my own couch. Plus, I have some ESPN coverage, so I can actually broaden my knowledge this season in terms of general MLB stuff. Feelin good.

You know, I almost added in "Well, as much as one can learn from ESPN" but I couldn't format it how I wanted and I got impatient.

Please, feel free to comment on everything that I hate about my favorite team. I almost dropped them last year and became a Nats fan (I live in Norfolk, VA closest home team to me). It has been brutal, but the Toddfather didn't give up on them so I guess I'll just bitch until they get some pitching.

Why don't we start there. Pitching. I just watched the pitching blow a 4 run lead last night against Arizona. That was brutal to watch.

Cardinals Marco Gonzales getting 2nd opinion

Trying to stay optimistic but after the first two games and this it's hard.

 

Chis was just kinda mediocre at third outside of that crazy hot first half a couple seasons ago. He lost his job to a rookie defensive whiz last year and eventually moved to RF, where he was outstanding defensively. So Tribe fans now have a pipe dream where he becomes our Alex Gordon.

First he's gonna have to prove that his outfield defense last year in a smallish sample is for real, but he also needs to show some consistency at the plate.

 

Can't believe the Rockies are up on Arizona again. At least I can always catch the free game of the day. Stupid blackout restrictions mean radio only for Mets games :(
