Giving this a break to catch up on other things but yeah it's still perfect and I wouldn't change anything about it

    I am a haunted house. I'm superstitious.

Do you think this album is better than the previous one?

@MarceloFP I'd put them on equal planes. They are both wonderful and satisfy different "itches" I have.

anyone going to the seattle date at the end of the month?

  5. I rarely listen to this thing start to finish anymore, but when I do, I remember why I love it so much. One of the few bands that can make a 70 minute album that's interesting from start to finish.

I think this is significantly better than the first album.

this album has been on the verge of hitting me like a truck for a while now, but it never happens. i absolutely loved a bunch of tracks right from the start ("UGH!", "Me & My Brain", "The Sound", "Paris") and then there's a few ("Somebody Else", "Loving Someone", "Lostmyhead") where i feel like i'm missing something. i'll be listening to them while reading the lyrics and annotations on genius, and hopefully this will do it. it's certainly a crazy and very enjoyable ride. "Love Me" is my least favorite though

"Loving Someone" is still my favourite from this release. Still listen to the entire album every few days.

Something about "Paris" crashes through my soul. I think it's the almost defeated implications of "I'm starting to cheat on my girlfriend again" and "I think my boyfriend's a nihilist". I'm a sucker for those type of lyrics. What a great song.

Somebody Else is just leagues above any song coming out right now. What a completely perfect song.

I think a change of heart is an underrated standout. Maybe it isnt as grandiose but there's something really refreshing in its simplicity.

I love that song. One of the first ones that stood out to me.

One of my favourites simply because of the lyrics and Matty's subsequent delivery. Looking through my iTunes, it's actually my most played track from the album. Love it!

Yeah and I go through the track list and I'm like, man I really like 9 of these songs but I'm not in love with them, yet I find myself coming back and listening to them

  18. the production on this album is what really sets it apart from s/t for me. so many interesting sounds that build on what they did with LP 1.

currents favs are Paris, She's American & the title track

I can already tell Somebody Else will be one of the best tracks I hear all year

  21. Matty posted this on twitter. A closer look at the design behind their light show.

That was a really interesting video. Saw them in Oslo (Norway) a couple nights ago, and the light show is insane. It's like nothing I've ever seen, and you really have to experience it live. The clips you've seen online does not do it justice at all.

Too bad the sound guys botched the vocals - you could barely hear Matty singing.

On a side note - Matty was reeeally drunk (high?) and seemed tired. I think he almost fell asleep during Change of Heart. Reminds me of how he was at the end of the last tour, before they took their much deserved break.

I was there as well, Kick-ass show! The lights and effects changed with each song and were truly spectacular, the set list is also huge. The vocals could have been a little louder indeed, but it was nothing that really ruined the experience for me.
Great show, grab tix if you can! It truly is bang for your buck!

I really want to see them live again just to see the light show, but I feel like I'm always going to be disappointed by his vocal performance, sadly.
