Yeah I guess it did. I should have had it in my honorable mentions probably but I hadn't listened to it in so long that I kinda just forgot about it. I think the problem was I had heard almost all the new stuff live and in videos months before the album came out, so while I liked it initially, I think I had already kinda grown tired of the songs a little. I still enjoy it, just ended up being a lot of stuff I liked more and came back to more often.

 

I just listened to a few tracks now and I liked what I heard. It's funny that they had a cover of a song as one of the first tracks I listened to which was from and old 80s BMX movie I used to love called "Rad". Lol

 

I'm regretting publishing my list last week 'cause I just started listening to Chance and Coloring Book is so, so amazing. The hype is definitely deserved.

3. Slow Club (huge fan and this did nothing for me, boring and hard to listen to)
4. Two Tongues (just plain terrible in every respect)
5. the Head and the Heart (their first album was great, 2nd was decent, this one just so-so)
6. Two Door Cinema Club (80s wannabe bullshit)
7. You Blew It (I keep trying to like it, but after a month I'm still not a fan)
8. Say Anything (haven't been a fan in awhile, but shit this was a mess)

Cool to see Enemies up that high. I like the record a lot but am having a hard time placing it on my list due to recency bias/not having as much time to spend with it as other records

 

One of my favorite parts of this time of year is revisiting a record to figure out where to place it and realizing you WAY underrated how much you like it.

It Never Goes Out is their best by some distance.
