Yeah that's the thought in the back of my head. Selfishly I feel better off not knowing. SOmetimes I feel anxious about it.

 

It makes me mad that he has made me have to look over my shoulder 24/7. There is a beautiful trail I love to jog but I'm too scared to now. I also don't wear earbuds anymore so I can hear if someone comes after me. Like I said it's a mess.

 

Maybe I'm insane but, like, 0% of the sexual interaction I've had is at the level where it'd be worth being that big of a piece of shit. Like, all of this because of wanting sex? It's pathetic.

Same here. My girlfriend has been verbally and sexually harassed by guys at our school and in our town and I always feel so helpless and angry. It breaks my heart. I like to think I've never been on the other end of that but I honestly can never know.

 

I've had plenty of guys make me feel bad by telling me I've made them sad or disappointed because I wouldn't text or send sexual conversation / revealing photos. It's really uncomfortable

It makes me so sad to know that there are women here, and obviously everywhere, who literally feel unsafe and uncomfortable because of the intrusive and unwelcome advances of men, but yet people still try to dismiss feminism and feminist ideals. Like, people (read: men) apparently see no problem with women feeling unsafe in their homes but throw a fit when the existence of a patriarchy is suggested. It's a vicious cycle of deflection and neglect.

 

It's just like, if you say no that should be the end of it. Guys mentalities are so stupid and need to change. Not meaning to generalize guys but it's so common that it feels necessary to address as a group. Men need hobbies.
