I hope Ian Kinsler's mailbox is big enough for all the fanmail I'm writing him tonight

Lol the "just hit the runner" idea is so stupid. Correa was way on the grass. The ump knew he messed up cause I don't remember the last time I saw someone argue that vehemently and not get tossed. And Betances was utterly robbed on that 2-2 pitch. Ugh. Oh well, just the first game lol.

Always just been the most casual of fan of mlb. Like the Rangers, Astros, and Cubs. Went to Rangers opening day yesterday while I was in town for wrestlemania. I want to try to keep up more this season

I'm trying to work out a way to make it to an Angels game when the Sox are there playing them, need to see Big Papi one last time.

Exactly what I had to do. I live in Nashville and I'm taking a day off from work to see Papi one more time!

I'll be going to Braves games this season, but certainly not the Sox games. I'd be in the minority.

I'm going to go to as many Sox games as I can this year. Gotta see Ortiz a few more times before he's gone.

I'm also debating on trying to talk my dad into a baseball mini-trip to see Camden Yards and Nationals Park over a long weekend. We did a road trip down the East Coast last year and squeezed in Citizen's Bank and the Trop.

GO TO CAMDEN! I traveled there for a game. Absolutely love that ballpark.

Anyone got some good baseball books to recommend? I've got some audible credits to use up before I cancel that subscription.

I did that with my dad when I was a kid. One of my fondest childhood memories. That rules. I wish I could do that now!

I'm planning on taking a weekend trip to Pittsburgh to see the Pirates in August. I live in NJ so I'll probably try to catch one of their games against the Mets at Citi Field (might wear my Neil Walker shirt, haha). I usually catch a few random Yankees games as well throughout the season, possibly even a couple of other Mets games.

I don't want to wait until 5 for the next game. Listening to Joe Castiglione yesterday was the most nostalgic experience

Where did you hear it, out of curiosity? As far as I can tell, WEEI doesn't stream the games online?

Also if you have T-Mobile you get a year free of mlb.tv premium... So I listened to the game yesterday at work. Agreed that listening to Joe Castiglione was nostalgic and also perfect.
