We kinda knew this would involve the release, but this makes the tour better than it already is.

Bringing this up again, in a Twitch LoL stream, Ryan said he would love for the band to take out Wage War AND Silent Planet.

While I love FFAK/SP/WW, I feel as though a lineup like this falls into the sams pitfalls as every For Today headliner on the past 3 years: a non-Christian metalcore band sticks out like a sore thumb. You add in any Christan metalcore band and 3/4 of the lineup has been done on a For Today headliner. Maybe they could just do the 3 of them and locals.

Doesn't Wage War consist of Christian members though? I know Cody and Seth are involved in it.

They are a Christan metalcore band. That's what I'm saying. You add in someone like Cane Hill or Bad Omens and they are a sore thumb in that lineup.

I get what you're saying now lol. I remember the Fight The Silence release tour featured Like Moths To Flames, The Plot In You, Stray From The Path, and Fit For A King; 3/4 non-Christian bands.

I also remember hearing about this tour from 2009: ABR/Acacia/Impending Doom. Guess who the sore thumb is.

Dammit, there's already too many shows around Tampa in March. Oh well, I'd only go to that for BOO (since it's New Reign) and WTR.

what are blessthefall up to in the spring? i feel like that they've covered a lot of markets, but haven't really done a big support tour recently.. last one was AA in 2014. i'm expecting a single followed by warped in the summer.

blessthefall was direct support on Crown The Empire's last tour. Here in Orlando they headlined the same venue as AA did on the 10 Years in the Black tour so I don't know who would be "bigger" for them to support except for ADTR.

CTEs tour only got those venues because of BTF. I feel like they didn't gain much from that tour, other than a hefty up front chunk of change from CTE.

I would love to see them support ADTR. That would work. Or parkway drive, but they won't be back in the US til probably 2018.

I think you're overestimating BTF's overall draw. Their last headline tour didn't sell out some smaller venues. Idk man, CTE seems like a bigger draw these days, unfortunately.

Mastodon, Devin Townsend Project, Eagles Of Death Metal and Russian Circles added to Philly date of Opeth/Gojira tour. Moved to outside.

Maybe I'm wrong but is Mastodon bigger than Opeth? Also, that's pretty odd seeing DTP that low on the lineup.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Mastodon is definitely bigger than Opeth in the US

They might be but judging by recent tours, Opeth has been headlining and selling out way bigger venues in the NYC area. I guess Mastodon got more a following recently by opening for Priest.

    + EODM

Mastodon was already bigger than Opeth regardless of Priest, which was a pretty small run anyway. Opeth's 2015 Radio City Music Hall show was one of only 3 US 25th anniversary shows (2 nights in LA the others), announced a good 6 months in advance. Their Radio City show this year was announced 7 months in advance, and 3 months in advance of the full tour, in addition to being one of 2 shows on that tour doing Damnation/Deliverance in their entirety. Not to mention one of the biggest cities in the world. Not exactly the best gauge of popularity. Mastodon on the other hand, looks like their last NY proper show was Summerstage in 2015. Plus 2 Huntington shows later that year.
