Yeah, I looked at the magic bullet but it seemed pretty basic

Like honestly a 20 dollar blender will do most of the basic stuff. But as a gift the Magic Bullet is serviceable.

I was never one for getting spicy things just because. I can eat the Flaming Hot but I'd rather have the original puffs

I made Vietnamese Caramel Pork for my dinner tonight. First time I've made it, definitely not the last. It's superb.

Crunchy is the cool popular one, puff is secretly better

I was talking to my students today and mentioned that I microwave soup from a can (in a bowl, not literally in the can) rather than putting it on the stovetop and like 99% of the kids were angrily upset that I'd do such a thing. I'm having a philosophical crisis here, is it that weird to microwave soup?

Not when it comes from a can. Not at all.

Yo, fuck dirtying two dishes. If I'm eating shitty canned soup I don't care that it goes in the microwave.

Make them feel shitty. I always make my students feel guilty and tell them I can't afford real food because I chose to be a teacher. Tell them you can't afford to turn your stove on. Nor do you have the time to wait for it because you're too busy lesson planning.

That was my point! I'm only dirtying one bowl, plus the soup is probably low quality enough that putting it on the stove won't affect the taste that much. I'm a busy man!

No problem with microwaving canned soup. Just like I wouldn't have a problem with heating up water in the microwave to make shitty bagged tea... or ramen... or packaged oatmeal...

I made so much stir fry last night with the intentions of eating it for several days. It's been great. Chicken/red peppers/onion/mushroom/jalapenos, fried rice, eggs, stir fry sauce, and siracha. Yum.

I microwave the water for my coffee. Wish I had a kettle for that but I don't

I microwave water for tea partially for convenience and partially because I'm not good at guessing a single serving with a kettle

$5.99 is a steal! I guess I have to take back the puff comment haha I didn't even think about these technically being puffy.

    I'm not your friend, buddy.

Seriously though, spam is salt, fat, and spare parts just barely fit for human consumption....but I'm still probably gonna eat it until the day I die.

Diced spam and eggs should NOT be as good as it is.

    Wait, how does this work?

Like do you microwave water and then pour it through a filter?
