This was announced at 1 pm, and tickets went on sale immediately and exclusively at the venue. My friend got in line at 1:10 pm; he only had the tickets in hand about 15 minutes ago. I have another friend who arrived five minutes later who still is in line. Apparently it's a total shitshow

 

my roommate got there at like 1:30 and said the line was already a block long... they just announced a second show, but i can't even imagine how many people were turned away before they added the second show. bummer.

 

Since it was cash only, I don't understand why it was such a mess. Oh well. They're certainly not used to events like this, I guess

 

John Roy's Don't Ever Change is really good. It's comedians talking about what they were like when they were 14 years old. John is a great host, very knowledgeable on many topics and he's super funny.

 

Nice! Only seen the first episode but I really liked it.

 

Sweet. I've watched and enjoyed every episode. So many great cameos.

New Pistol Shrimps Radio!!

 

I sent in a DVD copy of that rock-doc of the band Anvil to Pistol Shrimps Radio before the last season ended during the midst of Anvil-gate and nothing would make me happier if they happened to open it on the show.

 

Apparently Pistol Shrimps Radio is on Earwolf now! So cool.

 

Never listened to Pistol Shrimps, but I listen to Jensen on Get Up On This, and have heard lots of people mention Pistol Shrimps. Can I just jump in with the new episode on Earwolf, or do I need to explore the back catalog?

 

Jon Daly/Adam Scott golf special airs this Friday. I still know very little about it, but I can't wait to see what they do with it.

I've only listened to a few and jumped around. I would, however, listen to the Han Mah Boogie episode first if you're going to do that.

 

When he first started appearing I was convinced I was going to hate him, for whatever reason. Now he's one of my favourites.

 

The opening clip this week was amazing
