I was really surprised when he did that. He was at least 15 feet away from me and never made an attempt to come closer. Like I said, I'm not shy anymore about saying that I take testosterone, but I had to repeat the ".25 ml" part because of how far away he was. We'll see if CVS actually reads their corporate complaints.

 

Shy or not...they're fucking professionals and doing that shit is despicable.

 

I'm glad that it was me and not anyone else having to deal with that though. I can put up with a lot of bullshit and still come through it without being too damaged...anyone a bit more fragile than that might have had a REEEEALLY bad time. If that makes sense?

I used to be a Pharm Tech at CVS during high school/college and shit like that is appalling. Not only is that unprofessional but could be illegal. Any patient info is completely confidential and there's a reason why there's a separate section if you want to consult with a pharmacist in private.

 

Update: That CVS location's leadership team has been notified and will be contacting me within 2 business days. My annoyance/rage from the situation has lessened, but I still want this dude to get in a lot of fucking trouble.

Update 2: Talked to a real live person, told her what happened. Made particular note of the fact that even if on his side it had nothing to do with me being trans, on my side it's part of the medical care I need because I am, how this week has been bad enough already and this kind of treatment could have pushed someone else over the edge, and I never want to see this man at this pharmacy again. She was very apologetic, to say the least.

Update: CVS shit was resolved satisfactorily. Guy got yelled at and also apologized to me via the woman I've been speaking with. Fun times.
