nice to see some positive comments about AVA haha.

 

I will always say that I like(d) them, they just have gone down hill for me not to mention he barely does anything with them anymore. I loved the first two albums, half of love 1 and a couple songs from love 2, and about 4 songs from DW. I just know the band is capable of more and needs to stop repeating some of the same tropes

 

Yeah I'll always say that I'm a fan, despite the crap theyve put out in recent years. WDNTW is still up there for me as one of the best Blink related records. I-Empire was a step down but still good. Love 1 & 2 were awful, maybe 4 good songs from that whole double album. Dream Walker had potential but the production was just terrible.

 

I liked I-Empire a lot more than WDNTW, haha.

 

It's been a really long time since I've heard it but I always remember WDNTW being really solid all the way through

I did like it more than +44's album

I liked both albums when they came out honestly, and they were so different I couldn't compare them. Still love both

 

I'm weird because WDNTW doesn't hold up so well for me, but I like LOVE-Chasing Shadows much more than +44/California

 

Yeah production on Dream Walker was a let down, I could barely understand what the heck he was saying.

 

That was probably the goal so you couldn't analyze his lyrics.

 

Dream Walker is actually my favorite AVA release. I like it a lot more than California, but there is one or two clunkers which is a given

I was obsessed with I-Empire for a while. I like it more than California
Note: really like California though

 

I actually love that track too, as well as "Love is Dangerous" as a closer (whether you count it as a closer or not), but I seem to be in the veeeerry small minority. Haha. Never understood the hate for those songs, while some people seem to like "Even if She Falls". Weird.

 

I love "Even If She Falls" and hate "California" and "Love Is Dangerous." Hahaha.

Ok you know that's just ridiculous. "Love is Dangerous" is AT LEAST equal to diarrhea...

 

Diarrhea eventually goes away. LID will always exist. That's way worse.

 

Honestly I think the only "bad" part of Love Is Dangerous is the chorus but even that gets saved by Mark

 

Mark's backing vocals do at least give me one thing in that song that I can get behind

 

That's my favorite part. I love the alternating Tom/Mark lines in the chorus.
