I mean the Yankees lost partly because betances didn't want to peg Correa and injure him but it was the right thing to do. I didn't see many quotes of them whining allover the media about it. The ump basically saying he should've straight up hit Correa with the ball though... Smh

I just think the jays should relax, its the second game of the season. Don't let this one thing mess with you. Also learn the rulebook.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here!
It's been fun over the last couple years to watch all these young guys grow!
I still have nothin against the Yankees, I just find it much more enjoyable for me personally to just love the game and the stories that come along with it rather than invest in a particular team and be stressed about their performance. Also the Red Sox are just a fun team to watch and I don't wanna have to hate them haha
it is MUCH healthier haha I hated how stressed sports made my dad growing up and for a while hated sports because of it. Eventually I realized I love baseball, I just wasn't interested in that aspect of it.

And meh its a long season don't even know who you referring to tbh @Whatjuliansaid . Its a shitty way for the game to end so they have the right to be upset. The funny thing is he would of been safe at 1st and the game tied. Didnt need to do anything at all dude wasnt turning the dp play.

woke up i'm in the in-between honey

Ah yes, pulling out the "wear dresses" line because grown men can't grasp simple concepts (but can apparently grasp the legs of players on the other team).

Wow, bases loaded 2 out in the 10th and a passed ball starts the runners. They end up retreating and the runner on first gets caught between 1st and 2nd for the 3rd out. Crazy.
this Marlins/Tigers game has been fun.

I totally feel that. I feel like the main reason I dislike the sox or the phils are because I feel like they despise any kind of NY team, I don't go out of my way to hate on them but I definitely would rather they don't win. Maybe I've just had some really bad experiences with their fanbases and I judge too hard though idk

I totally agree about everything else though. It feels like baseball has really gotten better and more fun with all the young stars coming out.

I also agree with that, i have friends who still throw childish temper tantrums and get furious about losses. The fact that they wont even consider going out with someone who enjoys a rival team is pretty nuts imo, that's how you know they've gone too far haha

For real. Must suck giving up an off the wall double to Old Man David Ross and you've got Fowler, Heyward, Bryant and Rizzo up next. What do you do as the pitcher to stop the existential dread?

A friend of mine was nice enough to let me use his MLBtv login this season. Offered to pay for half of the subscription but he declined. Very happy about it.

At first I bought the single-team package for $85, then splashed for the full thing at $110.

I get why they're upset, but you have one player who is honoring the new neighborhood rule and hanging on to second base to complete the dp and another who admits to not knowing the rule twisting the fielders foot while he's in a throwing motion. Anybody can play what-ifs, but it remains that there is a possibility that the interference caused the errant throw. By the way, it probably seems like I'm fighting you on this but it's more of a frustration with Bautista. I can't stand it when superstars fail to educate themselves on the game they play and blame the game for their mistakes. If he doesn't make contact then maybe the play still isn't completed, but he will never know because he "didn't know he couldn't make contact". Like, come on dude, you think you would educate yourself on the biggest change to baseball's rules this season.

If I'm Heaney, I tell the skipper my nosebleed is too bad to continue, and go get an early shower.

Yep! I've been watching on my ps4 since after work. It really is great except for the blackout rules. Being in Vegas means I can't watch any games in CA or AZ
