15 minutes til they're on. Exciting stuff!

Decent set. Hoping the 'see you next time' comment means they're definitely coming back, because Jesse didn't say anything like that at Manchester!

Glad they played At The Bottom; one of my all time favourites

Tonight I felt like I was the only person singing along within about a 20 person radius... especially during Tommy Gun.

Fantastic performance though, Jesses voice is in top form.

Felt like that too haha. Really enjoyed last night though. Caved and bought the flower cross t-shirt, £25 though :cringe:

Couldn't see that one! Ended up getting the other t shirt and one for my brother... £50 for two shirts, damn...

It was only on one of the merch stands for some reason! cheaper than buying it online and paying shipping though i guess

Last night was fantastic and great to hear At The Bottom and have the set switched up a touch from Saturday. I feel on Saturday I enjoyed Biffy Clyro way way more. With Brand New there's always something exciting and new going on at any moment but Biffy was literally exactly the same, I left just after Machines to beat the crowds.

I wish i'd left early too, didn't get home until after 12. Barclaycard arena is such a pain to get out of!

I'm off to London tonight, so stoked for BN & I'd love it if we got At The Bottom like you guys.

Biffy were extraordinarily polished and disciplined, which is absolutely fantastic to hear once, they were a proper joy. I can imagine seeing the exact same thing a few days later would take a bit of the sheen off.

I found Biffy weren't as good at the Manchester show, despite me being in standing for Birmingham. I don't necessarily think it was their fault though, the crowd just seemed abnormally dead. I do hate the crush as a band starts and everyone tries to shuffle forward but there wasn't any movement at all. Brand New absolutely stole the show.

Man, this thread really turned into the Biffy Clyro thread...

As I said a few pages back, they're a better band than Brand New anyway!

Well it's happened. We're getting an At The Drive-In album before we get a new Brand New album.

Yeah, I was pretty much on the barrier and didn't feel any push from behind as the band took the stage. Pretty weird...

I agree though, brand new was the better band. It could be due to their ability to mix up the setlist and change songs almost on the fly. Adds a bit of surprise to the set.

I have never been able to get into Biffy. They just seem like generic rock to me.

They're less generic than, say, Foo Fighters, but they're fairly basic, yeah. Furzr says they're like Jimmy Eat World, The Xcerts, Arcane Roots and Feeder which isn't really anything I could entirely disagree with. I find them pretty hard to place.
