And what's this uproar about rules? We've been literally going over them on and off in GroupMe for the last however long with everyone who joined last night.

 

He isn't all of AP, but okay man. He's what's wrong with AP to be honest.

 

My heart breaks

 

I just can't seem to understand how everyone is okay with this merger except ATL. And he's making assumptions left and right that are just empty. For shit we still have yet to officially even do.

Baffles me

1. Complains about no AP admin or presence = Dome or Kevin

2. Complains about rules being only Z's stuff = we've been discussing them for the past 14 hours and still have yet to decide

3. Complains about poaching members = ATL is the only one with an issue with the merge, therefor believes it's not a merge

Like what in the world is that

 

A merge is exactly what I want. A merge is not at all what this is. We are joining Zporter's league. That I won't do.

An admin from AP is nothing. Zporter and this Taylor guy will make all the rules. It means nothing. I don't like half the shit he has setup. I've yet to see him do anything that's not his way.

I have no problem combining groups. I do, however, have a problem joining Zporter's league. You don't care because you side with Z.

This is going down the path of every GroupMe, BS, friends league I've ever been in. Not a chance in hell that I'm wasting my time with it.

 

The rules are the exact same as AP except with raised caps on spamming

 

You say I'm on Z's side like there's sides man. I just want madden and it pisses me off that is honestly has to be such a big deal. Will you join us if we completely overhaul and review the rules before we start it? Maybe we can all agree on a league name? B9 would be epic LOL, but absolute madden isn't far from the tree either.

I'm just looking for madden, I'm on the *everyone pile into a league and let's just play madden* side. This control thing and admin thing just confuses me. I just want to build my Browns finally

 

I don't know where you are getting this 'they are going to make up rules'. But by all means, go down with the ship that you sank. We wanted you in the league but at this point it really isn't worth it, decide to leave or stay, but there is no point in myself or Believeland repeating the same stuff. I've been running shit like this since 2006, it will be fine

 

I'm still posting because I want this to be an actual merge and for you to join, ATL. I'm not here to just talk shit or something. Trying to solve this

 

No point in hashing out new rules when they are the rules he was fine with before. He's being stubborn for the sake of it

 

Any way we can keep the league here on Chorus or is GroupMe necessary?

I think majority would prefer GroupMe from what I've seen so far. Most of the guys who've ventured over have complimented it being a more convenient way

 

This isn't a test to see who can win the battle of members, I think everyone just wants madden and a fresh start And GroupMe is a change of pace.

Tell me ATL, you don't want a 20 man (minimum) member league with sexy daddyleagues and the madden companion app? We can work out the kinks but I mean this is as prime as any of us will get this season.

 

I've already stated how I'd join the league. A 3-man committee, Zporter, AP guy (doesn't even have to be me, since I'm apparently to blame for everything in this league), 3rd guy (not his buddy). It's as simple as that, but Big Z has no interest.

A fresh start. They can decide on the specific rules and teams later. I don't care.

Without that, I might as well go join any GroupMe league out there. One with more users than 15.

 

fair enough. I'm down. Think it could be fun. Happy to get daddyleagues up and running as well

 

My buddy and I did the recruiting, he is staying as admin. I planned on it being

myself-commish
Dome, Taylor and possibly Slam-Admins

 

And when you do nothing to help the league and complain about no daddyleagues and hold spots for people who haven't played at all for at least a season, and fail to send out invites, I think a portion of it can be placed on you. Obviously it's in those who quit playing as well, but no attempt was made to make the league more attractive until it was too late

And if one of your guys doesn't get his team they quit

 

People who've joined have been picking teams as they've come along. So I don't think it would only be "our guys" at that point

 

he means, the way we do it is draft lottery. But so far there hasnt been many gripes with just choosing teams

 

Yeah seems everybody is fine with picking teams and just starting
