For the first time in a decade or so I haven't physically bought a single album all year and from my standpoint this has been a dire year for music in general.

 

Listened once a while back need to get back into it

 

I've heard a couple but most of the rest are on my need to listen list

Not a fan of the new michael Kiwanuka? I remember you loved his debut.

 

Been meaning to get round to it (along with a couple of others) but for whatever reason just not had the same drive to find new music like I have done whereas movies and gaming are stronger than ever right now.

 

I actually have the AAFCC album on right now too and it's great. Glad I came back to this after only giving it one listen a couple months ago.

 

Their whole discog is fucking insane but eternal and the long goodbye are the best

 

I really latched onto The Long Goodbye earlier this year. I fucking love that album and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't listened to AAFCC before.

I'm stuck at 57 right now. Took forever but I'm closing in on my Top 50.

As far as 2015 goes, my top five would still include Kendrick, Foxing, Grimes, and Hop Along, but I'd trade out The World Is... for Julien Baker, who I didn't even listen to until June of this year.

Best live shows i saw this year:
Russian Circles- Still the best live band out there. They are unfuckwithable.

Explosions In The Sky- Always a mesmerizing live show but their light set up this tour and the songs from their new album brought it to a new level.

Deafheaven- Drove down to San Diego to see them play in a small <200 people room. Was not disappointed.

Every Time I Die- Came out of mosh retirement at 26 and got a concussion. Still an Etidiot at heart.

This was a super cool list making site posted before so I gave it a hard go. I could never get it to save to my "profile' on the site, so I did it 3 times. Ended up saving PDF > print screen > MS paint > JPEG. I like the idea of 4 top albums, 2nd tier, and other. It makes a lot of sense in my head.

This is pretty much in 1-50 order. 1-4 is mostly set in stone. 2nd tier is a bit looser but mostly in favorite order. A bit looser even more on other favorites.

I'll probably do a official top 10 later.
